The Young and the Restless Spoilers Thursday, November 1: JT Corpse Mission Underway – Costume Party Surprises – Phyllis’ Victory

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Thursday, November 1, tease that Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) will have to think fast. At Chancellor Park, Arturo (Jason Canela) wants to fix the broken pipe right away. He doesn’t see any reason to wait since the sculpture’s been moved, but Nikki objects. Jill’s (Jess Walton) confused, but Nikki suggests Arturo should celebrate Halloween with Abby (Melissa Ordway).

Arturo and Abby indeed end up at the Crimson Lights gathering. They’re sporting costumes featuring a 1950s theme. Over with Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks), they return from the tattoo parlor and look at their new matching ink. Soon after, they don Sonny and Cher costumes. Mariah isn’t too thrilled about being Sonny, but Tessa insists it’s a good look.

After Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) is named CEO of Jabot, Kyle (Michael Mealor) arrives at the coffeehouse and grumbles. He gets a pep talk from warrior princess Lola (Sasha Calle) along with a distraction. Kyle eventually puts on a not-so-great Superman costume and enjoys some kisses with Lola.

Back with Mariah, she presents a carved pumpkin to share her feelings with Tessa. It says “I love you” on the front, so they reflect on how far they’ve come since last Halloween. Meanwhile, Phyllis heads to the athletic club for drinks with Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman). She’s ecstatic about her new CEO gig, but Billy (Jason Thompson) shows up to rain on her parade.

As the exes bicker, Jill appears and takes her turn with Phyllis. She’s not surprised Phyllis betrayed Billy with Nick (Joshua Morrow). Jill and Phyllis trade barbs about reverting to type before Billy ends the confrontation. He yanks Jill over to the bar, where they discuss his split further. Jill isn’t upset about them breaking up, but she’s sorry Billy’s in pain.

Jack moseys over to Phyllis, so she wants his real opinion. How does he truly feel about her taking the throne? Jack still thinks he’s the best person for the job, but he wishes Phyllis the best. Elsewhere, Billy’s late for his trick-or-treating plans with Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and the kids. He wants to keep the celebration going anyway, but Victoria shuts him down. She’s got somewhere to be.

Of course, Y&R viewers know that somewhere is J.T.’s (Thad Luckinbill) burial site. Phyllis makes her way over there, too. Nikki, Victoria and Phyllis ultimately get tired of waiting on Sharon (Sharon Case). They decide they might as well get started, so they begin digging.

Back at the coffeehouse, Nick wants Sharon to be part of his Peter Pan family costume plans. She lets him know it’s inappropriate. Sharon doesn’t want the kids thinking there’s still a chance for them. Nick suggests this is about Rey (Jordi Vilasuso), but she makes it clear that this is just about their breakup. Sharon indicates that it’s sticking, so they need to move on.
