The Young and the Restless Spoilers Thursday, May 31: Nick Wants to Leave Town with Sharon – Hilary Surprises Devon – Jack’s Rejected

The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Thursday, May 31, tease that Hilary (Mishael Morgan) will reveal her pregnancy to Phyllis (Gina Tognoni). At Crimson Lights, Hilary blurts out her happy news and admits Devon (Bryton James) doesn’t know yet. She’s trying to come up with the perfect way to fill him in.

Meanwhile, Shauna (Camryn Hamm) tells Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) about the problems in her family. Her parents took off to be there for her brother, so Shauna’s been stuck with a difficult aunt. Charlie tries to turn to Hilary for help, but she’s busy. Nevertheless, Charlie assures Shauna that he’s going to find a solution.

Back with Hilary, she faces some hurdles as she works to share her pregnancy with Devon. He’s always stuck in other conversations when she needs a moment alone. Jack (Peter Bergman) serves as one of Devon’s distractions on Thursday. He meets with Devon and Neil (Kristoff St. John) to discuss a business proposal.

The guys at Hamilton-Winters ultimately decide they don’t want to team up with Jack. Neil urges Jack to enjoy a sabbatical instead. At home, Sharon (Sharon Case) gets some stunning updates from Nick (Joshua Morrow). He wants to take a job in San Diego and move there together.

After Sharon presses for the reason why, Nick admits this is about Victor (Eric Braeden). He gives Sharon the scoop on the potential custody battle, but she doubts Victor could really emerge victorious. Still, Nick thinks it’d be best to leave Genoa City ASAP.

Sharon just doesn’t want Nick to feel like he has to run away. Nick shouldn’t cave in and let Victor fill him with fear. Nick eventually tells Victoria (Amelia Heinle) about his plans, but she’s not keen on him leaving either.

At the athletic club, Sharon and Jack take a minute to bond over new beginnings. Afterward, Nick returns to Sharon’s place and insists this move would be for the best. Back with Devon, Hilary’s finally able to surprise him with the baby announcement. She goes with a fun photo strategy, which brings a smile to Devon’s face. They share a warm hug as they prepare to be parents.

Elsewhere, Abby (Melissa Ordway) tries to relax after bickering with Victoria. Arturo (Jason Canela) is happy to help. They recap their Miami trip and lean in for a passionate lip lock. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) spots them in the distance, so a major confrontation’s looming.
