The Young and the Restless Spoilers Thursday, March 1: Anita Wants to Make Deal with Nick – Nikki Faces a Victor Shocker – Paul Pressures J.T.

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Thursday, March 1, tease that Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Victor (Eric Braeden) will actually share a moment of peace. At the penthouse, Victor pops in to speak with Nick. They talk about how they want to protect Christian (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) and ultimately agree that Victor will be in the boy’s life. It’s a good idea to try being civil for Christian’s sake.

Victor places his hand on Nick’s shoulder before he heads out. It’s great that they can put their clashing on hold when times are tough. Unfortunately, Sharon (Sharon Case) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) can’t seem to do the same. After Sharon and Nick discuss keeping Christian’s paternity from Victor, Phyllis rants about the pain Sharon’s caused. She sparks another heated confrontation on Thursday.

Back at home, Nick gets an unexpected visitor. Anita (Catherine Bach) arrives to make an enticing offer. She notes that Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) sent her a video file, which she’s willing to give Nick for a price. Anita wants $25,000 to hand over this message to Christian. She mentions that it could be Nick’s last shot at hearing the whole story from Chelsea.

Meanwhile, J.T.’s (Thad Luckinbell) irked by Mac’s (Kelly Kruger) news. She reveals that Victoria called her, so J.T. obviously wants to address that with his current gal. However, Victoria dodges the meetings J.T. tries to set up. She also catches him snooping through her things, but J.T. comes up with a good excuse.

J.T. wants dirt on Victor so he can follow through on his promise to Paul (Doug Davidson). Since Paul revs up the pressure in Thursday’s Y&R episode, J.T. needs to figure something out ASAP. Instead, he gets distracted with work drama. When Lily (Christel Khalil) hints that she answers to Ashley (Eileen Davidson), Victoria isn’t pleased. She lashes out, which prompts J.T.’s decision to jump in.

J.T. defends Lily by suggesting that she’s in a tight spot. Later, Lily offers J.T her gratitude. They chat about the custody situation and eventually lighten the mood by cracking jokes. Victoria sees their cheerful moment and eventually calls J.T. out for siding with Lily. She doesn’t want him involved in this.

Of course, Victoria’s stance doesn’t go over well. J.T. insists he can chat with friends and changes the subject to Victoria’s phone call. He fumes about Victoria ignoring his wishes and reaching out to Mac, so expect a tense confrontation.

Over with Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), she gets updates from Phyllis (Gina Tognoni). Nikki learns Victor covered Chelsea’s tracks when her scam was blowing up. She rips into Victor later, but he assures her that his heart was in the right place. Talk turns to finding Connor (Gunner and Ryder Gadbois) and raising him once they get him away from Chelsea.

It sounds like Victor’s got it all worked out, but his plan could be tough to pull off. We’ll keep you posted as other “Young and the Restless” details and rumors emerge. Stick with the CBS soap to see what’s in store.
