Hilary can’t seem to get rid of Shauna, so she just has to come clean. She could use some space to grow closer to Devon (Bryton James). Shauna thinks maybe she should move out, but Hilary insists that’s not what she wants. She just needs some alone time here and there.
Afterward, Hilary and Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) end up pitching in on a romantic dinner. They serve Devon and Hilary before heading out. Once the coast is clear, Devon dances with Hilary and they lock lips. It isn’t long until they head upstairs for sex. Devon notes that it’s now their bedroom instead of just his own. At Crimson Lights, Shauna and Charlie also bond with a cute kiss.

Meanwhile, Billy (Jason Thompson) pressures Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) on the housing issue. He still wants a new place, but Phyllis isn’t ready to move out. She thinks her wayward daughter needs her there. Summer listens in on their chat and argues with Phyllis soon after. Once her mom steps away, Summer corners Billy and seeks a job. He assures her that’s out of the question.
Summer shrugs that she can just take the marketing position Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) offered. She points out that she’ll be just down the hall. Summer’s looking forward to more fun – and apparently, more button pushing!
At the park, Nick (Joshua Morrow) enjoys more playtime with Christian (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) before he gives him up. Sharon (Sharon Case) tags along and supports Nick through the crisis. He regrets not playing dirtier in the custody battle. Nick insists that this loss has changed him. He’s not going to let Victor (Eric Braeden) win anymore, so a Newman war’s brewing.
A little later, Nick confronts Victor at the athletic club. He rants about how Victor won’t even be the one caring for Christian. Nick’s sure it’ll be the hired help. He lets Vic know that it’s his turn to lose and heads home.
Once Victor moseys over for Christian, he has a nanny by his side. After Nick bids Christian farewell, Victor suggests this is the only way. Nick indicates that he’ll be saying those words to Victor eventually. “The Young and the Restless” fans won’t want to miss all the conflict ahead.
