The Young and the Restless Spoilers Thursday, July 26: Hilary Pushes Past a Setback, Marries Devon – Lily’s Guilt Leaves Her Wrecked

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Thursday, July 26, tease that Hilary (Mishael Morgan) will have a horrible nightmare. In her dream, she imagines a beautiful wedding at the penthouse. It seems lovely until the minister starts speaking as it’s a funeral.

Hilary looks alarmed as she wakes up in the ICU. Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) eventually arrives to talk about Hilary’s bridal gown. Devon is also sending someone to do Hilary’s hair and makeup. Hilary admits she hasn’t told Devon she’s in the loop on her condition. She’d rather just soak in all these moments and enjoy her nuptials.

At home, Devon’s looking glum in his tuxedo. Neil (Kristoff St. John) offers a quick pep talk before they head to the hospital. At Hamilton-Winters, Lily (Christel Khalil) leans on Cane (Daniel Goddard) for support. She’s crushed over what Devon and Hilary are going through, so she asks for some private time. Cane exits, which gives Lily a chance to break down by herself.

Meanwhile, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) is an emotional wreck as she bumps into Jack (Peter Bergman). He picks up on her nerves and figures out that Hilary doesn’t have long to live. Phyllis hopes Billy (Jason Thompson) will attend the wedding with her, but Jack notes that he’ll be there either way. They vow to help each other through this ceremony.

At the coffeehouse, Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) informs Mariah (Camryn Grimes) that finding Crystal (Morgan Obenreder) is urgent. She’s set to change locations soon, so they have to leave today. Tessa wants Mariah to come along, but she doesn’t want to pressure her. Mariah assures Tessa that she’s in and vows to keep her mouth shut to Sharon (Sharon Case).

Back at the hospital, Nate (Brooks Darnell) checks on Hilary and receives words of gratitude. She’s thankful that he could give her enough time for the wedding. Neil (Kristoff St. John) walks over to Hilary’s bedside and the exes get some sweet closure. They affirm that they’re family now.

Afterward, Hilary gets some gifts for her big day. Phyllis, Shauna (Camryn Hamm), Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) and Mariah all gather around. Once Hilary’s done opening everything, she stops Mariah from leaving. Hilary wants Mariah to know that she’s really great at her job. She feels certain that Mariah can carry the show on her own.

Mariah seems to pick up on the death hint, but Hilary passes out before they can address it. After trying to wake Hilary a few times, Mariah rushes to the waiting area. Devon and Nate scramble to Hilary’s room soon after. Thankfully, Hilary awakens and musters enough strength to tie the knot.

Cane convinces a guilt-ridden Lily to make an appearance at the wedding, so they file in with the rest of the guests. The nuptials officially kick off with Neil’s poem and some wonderful “Hevon” vows. Once Hilary and Devon have made their promises, the minister pronounces them husband and wife. Everyone claps and cheers, but things will take a somber turn by the end of the week.
