The Young and the Restless Spoilers Thursday, January 25: Noah Learns Mariah and Tessa Kissed – Ashley Resigns from Jabot – Hilary Gives Lily a Pep Talk

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Thursday, January 25, tease that Lily (Christel Khalil) will have a rough time with Sam. At home, Lily volunteers to care for the baby since the nanny’s out sick. She runs into some trouble when she can’t calm Sam down. Hilary (Mishael Morgan) arrives a little later and helps out.

Lily confesses that bonding with Sam has been difficult. She still views him as a reminder of Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Juliet’s (Laur Allen) one-night stand. Hilary gives Lily a pep talk and promises the situation will improve eventually.

Meanwhile, J.T. (Thad Luckinbell) gets irritated with Victoria (Amelia Heinle) for ignoring him. He feels like she’s putting work first like she used to. Afterward, J.T. gets some advice from Cane. Noah (Robert Adams) also visits Victoria and they exchange info on their lives.

J.T. comes home with a new perspective. Communication is key for this newly reunited couple. J.T. apologizes for getting so bent out of shape earlier and Victoria focuses solely on him for a moment. They enjoy a sweet slow dance once they’ve patched things up.

Across town, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) gets updates on the arbitrator’s ruling. The case didn’t turn out in her favor. Jack’s (Peter Bergman) pleased, but he still wants Ash to know she’s a valued team member. He urges her to stick around, but Ashley decides she’s had enough. The betrayed blonde turns in her resignation.

Back with Hilary, she grows increasingly curious about Mariah’s (Camryn Grimes) journal secrets. Mariah pushes Hilary to back off and eventually learns GC Buzz may be up for sale. Hilary points out that she needs financial stability. She wants to give her future child the best life she can.

Elsewhere, Noah makes Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) nervous. He rants about Mariah trying to hinder Tessa’s success. Tessa insists that Noah needs to drop it, but he can’t let it go. Noah ultimately decides to talk to Mariah and sort this out. He confronts her about the song release she’s attempting to stop.

Mariah maintains that her words were stolen. She notes that Tessa even admitted it, but Noah doesn’t seem convinced. They argue and Noah urges Mariah to hand over the journal. He wants to see if she’s telling the truth about the swiped lyrics. Mariah wants Noah to trust her, but he needs hard evidence. She finally gives him the journal, which leads to some stunning moments.

Noah’s crushed and livid when he finds out about that steamy kiss. He gives Mariah a dirty look and storms out. It sounds like Tessa will face Noah’s wrath soon enough!
