The Young and the Restless Spoilers Thursday, January 18: Graham’s Brain Dead, Dina Approves Pulling Plug – Paul Suspects Ashley – Hilary’s Wants Baby

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Tuesday, January 18, tease that Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Lily (Christel Khalil) will reflect on some powerful memories. As they cuddle in bed, Lily and Cane rehash the past before turning to the future. They discuss how Sam will fit in their lives and agree that they’re in this together.

Back in Genoa City, Hilary (Mishael Morgan) clashes with Esther (Kate Linder) at the Chancellor mansion. She eventually convinces Esther to let her babysit Sam. At Crimson Lights, Hilary bumps into Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) while she’s caring for the kid. They discuss the challenges of parenting and Hilary asks a few questions. A short time later, Hilary determines that it’s time to have a little one of her own.

Meanwhile, Devon (Bryton James) revs up the pressure as Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) promises a hit song. She already has some good lyrics thanks to the journal she stole from Mariah (Camryn Grimes), so she wraps things up with a hook and calls Devon to listen.

Mariah scrambles to find her journal, but she obviously doesn’t have any luck. At the recording studio, Tessa’s song sounds a lot like the way things played out for Mariah. You can bet that Mariah will feel violated by Tessa’s bold move.

Across town, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Jack (Peter Bergman) are stunned to see Graham (Max Shippee) on the floor of his suite. Ash gets down there with him and performs CPR. Nearby, Jack grabs his phone and calls the paramedics. They wonder where Dina (Marla Adams) rushed off to as they consider Graham’s chances for survival.

At the police station, Dina enters Paul’s (Doug Davidson) office. She has a confession to make, but it’s the wrong one. Dina’s confusion leads her to believe she murdered Brent Davis. Afterward, Paul grills Ashley about the syringe found in Graham’s room. He notes that her fingerprints were on it, but Ash argues that Graham set her up.

Jack, Dina, Ashley and Paul all head to the hospital. They seek info on Graham, but the doctor doesn’t have anything positive to share. Graham just can’t pull through after his deadly dose. The doctor needs the next of kin to sign a form. There’s no hope, so they want to take Graham off life support.

Dina pipes up that she’s Graham’s wife. She offers to give her consent and let Graham slip away. Graham’s sneaky plans really tripped him up! He got tangled in his own sinister plots, so he ultimately got what he had coming.
