The Young and the Restless Spoilers Thursday, January 11: Danger in GC, Toxic Compound Stolen – Reed Melts Down In Court – Graham Marriage Fraud

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Thursday, January 11, tease that the Abbotts will seethe over Graham’s (Max Shippee) marriage bombshell. At Graham’s suite, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) shows up with Michael (Christian LeBlanc). Graham notes that his wife’s asleep, so she can’t come to the door. They all bicker a bit and Michael provides a document that says Graham can’t leave town.

At home, Jack (Peter Bergman) and Traci (Beth Maitland) reflect on how Dina was roped into all this. Graham got the marriage license and pushed Dina to marry him in October. Once Ashley and Michael walk in, they discuss annulment plans. Michael doesn’t think it’ll be a problem once the doctor testifies. Ashley’s still concerned about any other schemes Graham might have in store.

Traci admits she’s fretting over her own mental health, but Ashley promises to be there for her. At Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) place, Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) comes downstairs in casual clothes. He wants to skip his sentencing and let Michael enter his plea. J.T. (Thad Luckinbell) pushes Reed to stop acting like a kid, so the teen puts on a suit and heads to court.

At the sentencing, Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) suddenly rushes in and asks to speak. Reed does his best to shut her up, but the judge agrees to listen. Mattie makes a heartfelt speech in an attempt to reduce Reed’s sentence. Afterward, the judge scolds Reed for trying to silence Mattie and delivers a harsher sentence instead.

Reed gets some extra community service and is forced to pay a substantial fine. He learns his license will also be revoked for a year. Reed catches up with Mattie to make peace, but she insists she wasn’t trying to earn forgiveness. Mattie hastily exits and leaves Reed looking distraught.

At home, Victoria notes that Reed will have to pay the fine himself. He can find ways to earn cash or sell his guitar if that’s the option he prefers. Reed notes that he was recently rejected from a music program, so he feels like selling his guitar is fine. He doesn’t think he has any real talent.

J.T. and Victoria worry about Reed in private. Without music, the teen could really go off the rails. They debate the idea of boarding school, but J.T. believes they can get through this as a family. Later, Reed grabs his bag along with his guitar case. He quickly sneaks out of the house.

Mattie ends up at the Chancellor mansion to lean on Cane (Daniel Goddard). He listens to his daughter’s problems and agrees to make the Aussie waffles she likes. Back with the Abbotts, Ashley and Jack argue at the lab. Ash eventually notices that some toxic compounds have been moved. She puts them back in place and talks about the danger of combining them.

After Jack and Ashley leave, a masked intruder appears and searches through the lab. He or she bolts with the dangerous compounds. At Crimson Lights, Sharon (Sharon Case) tells Nick (Joshua Morrow) they’re all good. He was worried since he was the cheating news messenger, but Sharon gives him a peck on the cheek as reassurance.

When Sharon meets homeless Kathy, she invites her to spend the night at the cottage. Nick worries this could be a bad idea, but Sharon insists. At home, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) looks shocked as Sharon walks in with Kathy and her children.
