The Young and the Restless Spoilers Thursday, February 8: Chelsea’s Columbarium Bombshell – Ashley Plots Against Victoria – Sharon Gives Nick Advice

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Thursday, February 8, tease that Cane (Daniel Goddard) will be annoyed. At the athletic club, Cane complains about J.T. (Thad Luckinbell) leaving the job he pulled strings to get for him. He makes it clear that if J.T. ever needs a favor again, he won’t be the one to provide it.

Across town, Devon (Bryton James) shows up at Newman Enterprises for some PR-related planning. He learns Lily’s (Christel Khalil) feeling stuck in all the recent conflict. Meanwhile, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) continue to spar. They clash over every issue that comes up, so this rivalry isn’t dying down anytime soon.

J.T. joins Ashley and Victoria for an official photoshoot later. There’s a real power struggle over the spotlight. Once they’re done taking pictures, Ashley gives Devon instructions. She doesn’t want any of the pics featuring Victoria to be published. Devon isn’t sure that’s the best idea and Lily also looks concerned as she eavesdrops nearby.

Fortunately, Lily has a nice surprise waiting for her at home. Cane revs up the romance and mentions the idea of renewing their vows on Valentine’s Day. Lily thinks that sounds like a good plan. Over with J.T. and Victoria, they celebrate what would’ve been their wedding anniversary. Victoria’s pleased with the beautiful necklace she receives.

At the coffeehouse, Sharon (Sharon Case) listens to Nick (Joshua Morrow) talk about Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). He’s worried that she might be guilty, so Sharon simply advises him to trust his instincts. Nick remains deep in thought about his relationship.

At Jabot, Chelsea gripes about Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) threatening her via text. Phyllis insists that she never sent Chelsea any ominous messages. Later, Phyllis meets up with Billy (Jason Thompson) and updates him on the text situation. She feels like Chelsea’s anxious reaction points to her guilt.

Chelsea makes her way over to Crimson Lights and rants to Sharon. She snaps that Phyllis is trying to turn Nick against her. They address the Chelsea 2.0 drama and Sharon argues that Chelsea could make this go away. She just needs to prove she’s not responsible for the theft. Chelsea counters that Nick believes her, so she doesn’t have to offer proof of her innocence.

At the penthouse, Nick and Chelsea discuss having dinner together later. Once Nick leaves, Chelsea has a little chat with Christian (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen). She promises that she’s trying to take care of all this. Chelsea’s hoping to prepare herself in case the paternity shocker strikes. She doesn’t want Victor (Eric Braeden) to gain the upper hand and wreak havoc.

Chelsea’s phone shows another text, which says this will all be over soon. She seems rattled and eventually ends up back at the columbarium. Chelsea notices a flower’s been placed there. When she hears a noise, Chelsea spins around and looks shocked by what’s in front of her.
