The Young and the Restless Spoilers Thursday, February 22: Chelsea Makes Getaway Plan After Sharon’s Attack – Mariah Breaks Down – Phyllis Takes Action

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Thursday, February 22, tease that Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) will have quite a mess on her hands. At Crimson Lights, Chelsea steps back after attacking Sharon (Sharon Case). She grabs Sharon’s phone, which was in the middle of a call to Nick (Joshua Morrow).

After hanging up, Chelsea heads over to grab cash from the register. When Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) interrupts, Chelsea quickly hides. Nikki discovers Sharon’s unconscious body and calls for paramedics. Later, Nick (Joshua Morrow) gets updates and grows concerned.

At Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Billy’s (Jason Thompson) apartment, they discuss Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) live apology. Chelsea’s name comes up again, but Billy insists they should put that drama on hold for a while. He wants to concentrate on their romance.

At the TV studio, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) grills Hilary about what happened on the air. Hilary recaps her latest nightmare and admits she needs to make things right with Devon (Bryton James). However, Hilary adds that the apology wasn’t just for him. She’s truly trying to make amends with the people she’s harmed.

Suddenly, Mariah gets a call about Sharon being in the hospital. She rushes over to hear more news from the doctor. Mariah fears Sharon will never wake up and cries about not calling her “Mom.” She sits by Sharon’s bedside and pleads with her to pull through this.

Paul (Doug Davidson) suspects this may have been a robbery based on the cash register being open. He mentions that the cameras were shut down as well. Nick joins Mariah as Sharon starts to awaken. He wants to know who did this to her.

At the penthouse, Chelsea loads up a couple suitcases. Since things are spiraling out of control, Chelsea decides to write a goodbye note and flee. After Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) hears about the assault, she marches over to Chelsea’s place. Chelsea manages to sneak out before the superintendent unlocks the door.

Afterward, the luggage is loaded and Chelsea heads toward the ranch. Nikki returns home and steps in for Victor (Eric Braeden), who’s been caring for Connor (Gunner and Ryder Gadbois) and Christian (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen). Chelsea arrives and wants to take the boys with her.

Hilary eventually shares a moment alone with Devon. She drops a hint to get his thoughts on the public apology. Devon shocks Hilary by admitting he disapproved. He thinks it seemed like Hilary was looking for pity and making things all about her. Devon argues that the audience agreed with him.

Hilary learns she’ll be in breach of contract if she makes another move like that. Devon advises against it and turns his attention to Simone (Shanica Knowles). Once she walks in, Simone and Devon lock lips. Hilary obviously isn’t happy about it!
