The Young and the Restless Spoilers Thursday, February 1: J.T. Joins Chelsea 2.0 Investigation – Devon Sets a Trap – Ashley Shocked By Nikki

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Thursday, February 1, tease that Cane (Daniel Goddard) will pull out all the stops for Lily (Christel Khalil). At home, Cane revs up the romance by setting a Parisian scene. He offers a French menu and eventually sits down with Lily. They rehash the Sam struggles and focus on spicing up their marriage.

Later, Cane gives Lily a massage and they plan to renew their vows. Lily also gets some positive updates from Ashley (Eileen Davidson). Now that Ash is in charge of Brash and Sassy, she’s got major goals. Ashley wants to boost the company’s chances of success and assures Lily she’ll be a key player.

Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Ashley meet up on Thursday as well. The conversation quickly heads in an surprising direction. Nikki notes that if Ashley wants Victor (Eric Braeden) back in her life romantically, she should go for it. She alludes to the arrangement she has with Victor and argues that he’s still free. Ashley shuts down the idea, but Nikki says the offer stands.

At Hamilton-Winters, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) fall into Devon’s (Bryton James) trap. He tricks them by setting up a meeting, but they’re the only ones he summoned. Tessa apologizes again and they go over all the journal drama. Mariah feels Tessa is no longer trustworthy, but Tessa wants to fix that.

By the end of the conversation, Mariah softens. She suggests that in spite of everything, she doesn’t hate Tessa. It seems Mariah could never completely turn her back on her. At the penthouse, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) tells Nick (Joshua Morrow) that she took care of the cash situation. He assumes it’s been placed in the bank.

However, Nick picks up on Chelsea’s nervous vibe. When he grills her, Chelsea opens up about Adam (Justin Hartley). She recalls how they always talked about having a backup plan in desperate times. Nick gives Chelsea some support and states that she doesn’t have to keep secrets from him.

Afterward, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) shares the fake website news with Chelsea and promises to keep digging. Over with J.T. (Thad Luckinbell), he’s feeling a bit irritated. Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) stuck working all the time and Reed’s (Tristan Lake Leabu) nothing but disrespectful. J.T. isn’t particularly satisfied with his career path either, but Phyllis presents an exciting opportunity.

Since Chelsea 2.0 was hacked and cloned, J.T. agrees to a job on side. He’s going to investigate and hopefully find the person responsible. It sounds like this will be a nice distraction for J.T.
