The Young and the Restless Spoilers Thursday, August 30: Stunning Intruder Revealed – Rey Makes a J.T. Confession – Kyle’s Trap Is Set

The Young and the Restless Spoilers Thursday, August 30: Stunning Intruder Revealed – Rey Makes a J.T. Confession – Kyle’s Trap Is Set“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Thursday, August 30, tease that Kyle (Michael Mealor) will ignore Ashley’s (Eileen Davidson) point of view. At Jabot, they argue about whether or not to use Billy’s (Jason Thompson) gambling addiction against him. Kyle eventually agrees not to, but that turns out to be a lie. He soon heads off to meet his “date,” but this is really about setting up Billy’s trap.

At Crimson Lights, Sharon (Sharon Case) bolsters a worried Mariah (Camryn Grimes). She convinces her daughter to go out and have some fun. Mariah could use a break from fretting about Tessa (Cait Fairbanks), so she finds Kyle at The Dive Bar and wants to do shots. Kyle’s keen on shooing Mariah away, so she quickly gets the picture. After needling him about his date, Mariah makes herself scarce.

The woman Kyle’s meeting turns out to be Sinead (Lira Kellerman), Billy’s poker rival. He offers to pay off a huge debt she owes, but she’ll have to do a favor in return. Before Kyle can explain, Billy and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) appear. Kyle hurries Sinead downstairs so they can finish their chat. He notes that she just needs to make sure Billy loses big time and her debt will be paid.

Sinead makes the deal, so she finds Billy and urges him the participate in a tournament. Billy doesn’t like the idea, but Sinead tries to charm him into it. When she’s done, Billy seems to be considering the risk. Back with Sharon (Sharon Case), she encounters Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) and questions why he’s actually in town. Rey admits that J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) is the real reason.

Sharon looks concerned as Rey spills the rest of his story. He insists he’s a debt collector, so he’s trying to get back everything J.T. owes. Sharon isn’t pleased that Rey fibbed before. Once Rey departs, Sharon texts the girls’ night gang about his confession. Victoria rushes over and expresses concern about Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) impersonation plot being exposed.

Of course, there’s a far worse secret that Rey could uncover. Victoria tells Sharon she needs to pry more info out of him. They have to know what they’re up against. Later, Rey accepts Sharon’s invitation for dinner and visits the cottage. Apologies are exchanged over the earlier lies and tension. Sharon shifts gears and asks about Rey’s leads on J.T. They’re soon interrupted by Mariah’s arrival.
