The Young And The Restless Spoilers Thursday August 23: Billy Attacks Nick – Phyllis Meets Rey – Summer’s Scheme Exposed

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday August 23 tease an action-packed day of soapy drama in Genoa City, and Y&R fans won’t want to miss a second!

Kyle tries to stop Summer

After learning Summer’s (Hunter King) plan to go to Philadelphia to seduce Billy (Jason Thompson), Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) advises Kyle (Michael Mealor) it would be best if he and Summer got back together so she can stay away from Billy.

Meanwhile, Billy runs into Summer at Crimson Lights and turns down her idea of driving into work together. After Summer leaves, Billy meets with Victoria (Amelia Heinle), who’s upset about Billy not spending time with the kids. Billy explains that his job as CEO keeps him busy and he can’t see the kids. Victoria yells at Billy before leaving.

According to The Young and the Restless spoilers, Summer is waiting for Billy in the office when he arrives, she teases him about his trip to Philadelphia before Phyllis arrives. Summer quickly leaves, while Phyllis wants to talk to Billy about his trip, but he turns her down because he has a meeting with Nick (Josh Morrow).

Later when Summer bumps into Kyle and continues to brad about her upcoming trip with Billy. Kyle makes a snide remark, then when sends Phyllis a message once Summer leaves.

Sharon’s hesitant about Nick’s plan

Nick is working from home and Sharon (Sharon Case) notices he’s stressed. She entices him with a morning romp. Afterwards, as they’re lying in bed, Nick admits it’s a hassle running Dark Horse, but in the end it’ll be worth the reward. Sharon once again tries to convince Nick that they don’t need a new house, but he doesn’t listen.

Later at Crimson Lights, Sharon has to break up a fight between Billy and Nick, who are arguing over the rent for the Jabot boutiques. Billy remarks that Nick is just like his father before he storms out.

Phyllis arrives at the coffee house complaining about a flat tire, Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) offers to help Phyllis, who seems suspicious of him, but Sharon convinces Phyllis to trust Rey. After fixing Phyllis’ car, Rey questions Sharon about her relationship with Phyllis, she responds by saying she doesn’t like Phyllis, but has to put up with her. Rey writes down all this new information about Sharon and Phyllis in his notepad.

When Nick arrives home, he apologizes to Sharon for the argument with Billy. He tells Sharon, he’s going out of town on business and wants her to continue the house hunting search, which she is less than thrilled about.

Philly and Jabot drama

At the athletic club, Billy meets with Jack (Peter Bergman), who pleads with his brother to get Nick to reduce the boutique rents. Jack says he tried, but Nick won’t budge, he then advises Billy to let it go. Billy argues with Jack that his ego caused him to be ousted from Jabot. After Billy leaves, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) arrives and learns about the latest Billy drama. Ashley worries about the state of Jabot and vows that they need to stop Billy.

Back at Jabot, Kyle informs Ashley that no repair work was ever done on the yacht Jaboat. Ashley is upset that Billy lied and took money from them. Kyle says they could charge Billy with embezzlement, but Ashley says that’s not enough to bring him down. Billy arrives and accuses Ashley of trying to sabotage him by raising the rent, an angry Billy says that he doesn’t trust them and he’ll remain CEO no matter what they try to throw at him.

Billy arrives home to share a romantic moment with Phyllis before he has to leave. After he exits, Summer arrives and Phyllis wants to talk, but Summer ignores her. Phyllis finds the plane ticket to Philadelphia and confronts Summer.
