The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Y&R Announces MORE Shocking Returns For A Very Special Episode

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that the soap opera’s 45th-anniversary celebration will include a few more familiar faces.  Yesterday it was reported that Jaime Lyn Bauer (Lorie Brooks), Janice Lynde (Leslie Brooks), and Meg Bennett (Julie Newman) would return to CBS sudser. According to Soap Opera Digest, David Scott Lago (Raul), Kelly Kruger (Mackenzie), and Lauren Woodland (Brittany) will also make an appearance for the special anniversary episode.

Brittany Hodges

Brittany first appeared on The Young and the Restless in 2000 and left Genoa City in 2005.  There is no word on what her storyline is about, just that she would appear in several episodes during the week of March 26.

Raul

Lago first appeared on The Young and the Restless in 1999 to 2004, then reprised the role in 2009.  He was JT’s (Thad Luckinbill) friend. Luckinbill explained that after his return to Y&R in November, he reached out to Lago. He said that being on the set prompted him to miss David and he felt like reaching out.  Thad will be thrilled to hear that his pal will be returning to the soap opera for a short stint.

Mackenzie

Kelly Kruger appeared as Mackenzie from 2002 to 2003.  Mackenzie has been a hot topic on the soap opera as there is a mystery on what led to JT’s marriage ending.  Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will start to ask questions about what led to their marriage ending, which could be why Mac will show up in Genoa City.
