The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Phyllis Wanted Daughter Back, But Got Summer 2.0, Ready To Cause Trouble

The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that this summer is going to be one hot and sizzling couple of months – in more ways than one! That’s because Summer Newman (Hunter King) is back in Genoa City – and she’s prepared to make some waves.

According to CBS Soaps in depth, for months now Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) has been praying for her daughter to drop her jet-setting lifestyle and return home to where she belongs. She also wants to see her daughter settle into life in Genoa City and get to work. After all, Phyllis is one of the most ambitious women in town. Surely, her daughter must have gotten some her hard working genes?

Yet, that doesn’t seem to be the case. And what fans will soon see is Phyllis clash with her daughter, especially now that Summer has returned with a different attitude and more sassier than ever.

Actress Hunter King recently told the publication, “Summer feels a little bit attacked. She’s been on her own for almost two years, and she has developed a sense of independence. She hasn’t just come back to town, she’s come back to her house – and her mother is living there. I think there will be a little bit of butting heads, because you want to do things a certain way, but you have your mom looking over your shoulder, telling you how to do things!”
