The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Sharon In Between Nick and Phyllis – Shick-Phick Battle Continues

Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) was right, again, on ‘The Young and the Restless’. It’s not humanly possible for someone to be standing at the altar, about to get remarried to the love of his life weeks ago and now, to be living with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni). Sharon (Sharon Case) agrees.

There are many cool aspects to the new setting Y&R built, which joins the list of many beautiful backgrounds on this show. Seeing an homage to The Underground ranks chief among them, as it honors an important part of Nick’s past. However, spotting a sport shirt-wearing Phyllis frolicking around isn’t something that Sharon thinks is cool.

Sharon’s visit to Nick’s rebound house, which is what his new abode actually represents, was revealing in more than one way. As Y&R viewers recall, this was the location Nick impulse-purchased a few months ago, with the intent of Sharon moving in. She was shocked at the time, as the cottage is her home base and the originally honeymoon gift that still represents ‘Shick’s’ greatest days.

Like Nikki, Billy (Jason Thompson) is questioning ‘Phick, Again’. He would know, better than all others, what Phyllis’ is currently feeling. Billy cut her off after being stunned at ‘Shick’s’ second almost-wedding in the past for years. Mr. Abbott aptly tagged Nick’s bounce to the renewed ‘Red’ as a reaction to Sharon ending that ill-fated ceremony.

It seems like Sharon is being written toward Rey (Jordi Vilasuso). It won’t be a surprise if she embraces the detective this winter, despite Mia’s (Noemi Gonzalez) arrival in Genoa City. This assumes he doesn’t jail Sharon and the coverup crew, but let’s not move too far off plot point.

All of the above doesn’t mean that ‘Shick’ is dead because Nick still thinks of her as his one and only true love, which is what Sharon is. The same is true for Sharon where Nick is concerned.

So, ‘Phick’ for now. ‘Shey’, probably. But ‘Shick’ yesterday and ‘Shick, Again’ somehow. That’s what Y&R continues to tease through every Sharon-Nick scene.
