The Young and the Restless Spoilers Monday, September 10: Jack & Lauren Fear They’re Half-Siblings – Sharon Bribes Tessa – Rey Closes In

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Monday, September 10, tease that Billy (Jason Thompson) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) will have a little more fun in Vegas. In their hotel room, Billy pushes for a trip extension. Phyllis needs to get back home, but Billy manages to spark a sex session. Afterward, Phyllis once again argues that work’s waiting. They end up having sex again to keep the fun going.

Later, Billy gets a message about another tournament. He’s pleased, but Phyllis looks uneasy. Meanwhile, Jack (Peter Bergman) seeks answers back in Genoa City. He presents the pic of Dina (Marla Adams) and her admirers during a chat with Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman).

Lauren notices her own father, Neil Fenmore, is standing near Dina. She worries along with Jack that they could be half-siblings. Jack thinks they should order a DNA test, but Lauren wants faster results. Through some blood type logic, they figure out that they’re in the clear. That’s a relief since Lauren and Jack were once lovers!

At Crimson Lights, Sharon turns Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) down when she asks for an advance on her paycheck. Tessa also speaks with Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry), who’s skipping school and wants her to keep it on the down low. Soon after, Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) starts sniffing around Tessa and asking questions about the cover-up crew. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) are mentioned in their chat.

Sharon struts over as Tessa mentions Nick (Joshua Morrow) and his Dark Horse launch. Tessa guesses he’s at the office getting ready. Once Rey exits, Sharon demands to know everything that was talked about. She rants about Rey being a debt collector and adds that he’s investigating J.T. (Thad Luckinbill). Tessa doesn’t see the problem since it’s not like they’ve stashed J.T. somewhere.

Sharon seemingly offers an insurance policy to handle her new threat. She says she’ll give Tessa the advance, but she expects loyalty and discretion in return. Mariah appears and gets updates on Sharon’s decision. She privately asks how Tessa intends to get the rest of what she owes.

Mariah admits Devon (Bryton James) brought her in the loop on Tessa’s request. Tessa realizes Devon must doubt her story. She feels like Mariah might as well. Mariah reiterates her support, but later confides in Sharon. Once Sharon’s up to speed, she expresses disbelief.

Sharon thinks Mariah should take a closer look at the situation, but Mariah really wants to believe Tessa. Nevertheless, Mariah can’t help but wonder if Tessa came back for money instead of her. Across town, Charlie makes his way over to Devon’s penthouse to see Shauna (Camryn Hamm). Devon’s irritated when he comes home and spots them together.

Fortunately, Devon softens soon enough. After Shauna leaves for school, Charlie opens up about the guilt he’s battling. Talk turns to Lily (Christel Khalil) and how she’d appreciate a visit from Devon. When Devon’s reluctant, Charlie proposes a deal. He’ll attend school if Devon shows up to see Lily behind bars.

Back with Rey, he approaches Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor (Eric Braeden) at the athletic club. He confesses he’s in the debt collecting business and brings up Nick’s Dark Horse launch. Rey suggests it’d be great if they could all put their hostility on hold and be there. Afterward, Nikki expresses concern about Rey to Victor. She just doesn’t trust the guy.
