The Young and the Restless Spoilers Monday, October 8: Victoria’s Shocking Threat – Phyllis and Mariah Face Off – Ashley Scores CEO Spot

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Monday, October 8, tease that Nick (Joshua Morrow) will be determined to fix his relationship. At Dark Horse, Jack (Peter Bergman) and Abby (Melissa Ordway) are surprised he came to work. Nick gives Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) a document she needs and invites everyone to weigh in on what an idiot he is.

Jack admits that Nick royally screwed up. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) also lashes out at Nick for cheating on Sharon – especially with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni). Nick decides he has to go repair the damage, so he finds Sharon at the police station. She isn’t pleased that Nick’s bothering her there.

Since Sharon’s already filled Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) in on their failed wedding, Nick asks Rey for help. Rey tries to talk to Sharon about her romance, but she’s adamant that the “Shick” ship has sailed. At home, Summer (Hunter King) awakens and sees that Billy’s (Jason Thompson) not in bed. She shoots him a couple texts hoping for round two later.

Phyllis tracks Summer down later and complains about her blabbing. Summer puts the blame on Kyle (Michael Mealor), so Phyllis finds him next. Kyle explains how Mariah (Camryn Grimes) overheard, which sends Phyllis off to confront her final target.

At the athletic club, Tessa’s bummed that she couldn’t afford more than drinks and dessert for Mariah. The GC Buzz host has to go out of town for a week, so Tessa would’ve preferred a proper sendoff. Mariah points out that Tessa’s strapped for cash and gets snapped at. However, Tessa apologizes and notes that she just wanted to do something special.

Phyllis interrupts a kiss and mocks Mariah for being happy. She shouts about all the damage that was done when Mariah spilled the secret. Mariah rants that Sharon deserved to know about the betrayal. She holds Nick and Phyllis responsible before telling Phyllis to grow up.

Phyllis eventually runs into Nick by the bar. When Sharon walks in and spots them, she suggests they should have sex on it. Nick protests that he didn’t know Phyllis would be there. Sharon’s done listening to excuses. She calls Phyllis out for being a tramp and reiterates that she’s done with Nick.

Elsewhere, Victoria gets a note that leaves her rattled. Someone knows what she did and plans to make her pay. Y&R fans can expect the rest of the cover-up crew members to receive the same message. The week ahead will definitely bring some stressful moments.

In the meantime, Traci (Beth Maitland) finds out Billy moved forward with his rehab plan. Later, a board meeting successfully abolishes the blood-Abbott clause. The CEO vote ends in a tie between Jack and Ashley, but Jack tells his sis to take the spot. He’s got his Dark Horse gig and believes Ashley’s earned the CEO title.

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers say Ashley pulled off some dirty tricks to make this happen, so she’ll suffer for them soon. This rise to power will ultimately become her downfall! We’ll give you updates as other Y&R news and rumors emerge. Stay tuned to see what’s next in Genoa City.
