“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Monday, October 15, tease that Jack (Peter Bergman) will insist on hearing Ashley’s (Eileen Davidson) whole story. At Jabot, Jack kicks the others out and pushes Ashley to seek forgiveness. She isn’t interested since she believes she had every right to go after Jack.
Since Jack wants answers, Ashley decides to give them. She rants about how he hurt her though the blood-Abbott clause. Jack even tried to sabotage Ashley with Victoria (Amelia Heinle) while she was working at Newman. Ashley explains how she wanted Jack to suffer, so she cooked up this paternity deception plot.
Jack’s disgusted as Ash describes making sure the results said what she wanted. She was also behind the edited documentary footage. Ashley suggests she didn’t mind doing something big and bold. She was thrilled when she saw the look on Jack’s face that night.

Jack can’t believe Ashley would use their mother’s illness to target him. They have an explosive fight, which leads to Jack insisting that he doesn’t want to be related to or even know Ashley. Jack believes John would be absolutely ashamed of her.

At the Abbott mansion, Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Kyle (Michael Mealor) just can’t wrap their heads around Ashley’s scheme. Traci’s (Beth Maitland) struggling to make sense of it, too. However, she doesn’t want rage to drive them all apart. Traci pushes her younger family members to concentrate on coming together.
Ashley’s stunned when Jack eventually grabs a chair, lifts it above his head and hurls it toward nearby glass. She shrieks as pieces fly everywhere. Meanwhile, the girls’ night gang deals with more blackmail drama. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) shows off the final three digits of the blackmailer’s amount. The note says they’re “000.” Sharon’s (Sharon Case) letter contains a “5.”
When the cover-up crew puts the numbers together, they make a grand total of $250,000. Nikki thinks they should make the payment, but Phyllis says not so fast. She points out that they can’t be sure of how much this person knows. Even making the payment is risky since it would suggest their guilt. Phyllis doesn’t think they can really know if this person is in the loop on J.T. (Thad Luckinbill).
Nikki and Sharon still feel like paying up is their only option, but Phyllis has another idea. She wants to send the blackmailer a message and demand to meet in person. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) backs Phyllis up, so the naysayers agree to hold off on sending money for now. They ultimately choose to wait and see what happens next.
