The Young and the Restless Spoilers Monday, June 18: Jack Could be a Chancellor – Nick’s Proposal Shocks Sharon – Billy Frustrates Summer

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Monday, June 18, tease that Nick (Joshua Morrow) will have to face the harsh truth. At home, Brittany (Lauren Woodland) talks about how high the stakes are. She thinks Nick may have to choose Sharon (Sharon Case) or Christian (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen). Brittany warns that a breakup may be necessary if Nick wants his son back.

At Crimson Lights, Sharon (Sharon Case) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) do some brainstorming. They can’t think of a plan to make this go away. Victor’s (Eric Braeden) determined to keep Christian under his roof. Sharon feels responsible for the pain Nick’s dealing with, so she mulls over her next move.

Meanwhile, Summer (Hunter King) has an idea for Phyllis (Gina Tognoni). She pitches a crossover project in hopes of working with Jabot – or more specifically, Billy (Jason Thompson). Of course, Summer leaves her mom out of the loop on her agenda. As a result, Phyllis goes to bat for her.

Billy isn’t keen on being Summer’s mentor, but he ultimately agrees to a compromise. Summer can work on that project she wants, but she’ll have to do it with Kyle (Michael Mealor). The new partners aren’t too happy about the arrangement.

At the athletic club, The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Summer and Phyllis spot Nick. He gets an apology from his daughter, who was absent during the Father’s Day festivities. Summer eventually excuses herself and returns with a cupcake. It’s got a candle on it, so she urges Nick to make a wish.

Later, Summer needles Billy in his office. She hints that maybe he’s afraid of working together and that’s why he wants her teaming up with Kyle. Billy insists there have to be boundaries. Back with Nick, he meets up with Sharon at home. She revisits the split idea, but Nick isn’t giving her up. He believes they belong together, so he shocks Sharon with a proposal.

At Newman Enterprises, Brittany pops up to speak with Victoria (Amelia Heinle). She confirms that Victoria’s in Nick’s corner and eventually shifts gears. Brittany wants to discuss vanishing J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) and all the drama he caused. She questions Victoria, who isn’t keen on stirring it all up again. She doesn’t think J.T.’s coming back and believes that’s for the best.

Over with Jack (Peter Bergman), his key leads him to a safe deposit box. As Kyle stands beside him, Jack opens it and sees an old photograph inside. Jack recognizes the man next to Dina (Marla Adams) and reveals that it’s Phillip Chancellor. He sees the date, which is nine months before his birthday.

Jack naturally thinks Phillip could be his biological father. Is he right about that or is he headed down the wrong path? “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say plenty of twists are coming up.
