The Young and the Restless Spoilers Monday, July 30: Summer Seduces Billy – Mariah’s Grand Gesture for Hilary – Devon’s Suffering

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Monday, July 30, tease that the news of Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) death will hit Genoa City. At home, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) gets updates and leans on Sharon (Sharon Case) for support. She eventually composes herself and decides to do something huge for Hilary.

As Mariah exits, Nick (Joshua Morrow) appears with a black eye. Sharon wants to discuss it, but he brushes off his fight with Billy (Joshua Morrow). He notes that Billy hit him first and adds that the Abbott needed a reality check. Suddenly, Sharon spots the bag Mariah packed and takes a peek inside. She finds a one-way ticket to Sante Fe and fears Mariah’s leaving.

At Hamilton-Winters, Neil (Kristoff St. John) finds Tessa’s (Cait Fairbanks) resignation letter. He receives word about Hilary moments later and heads to the hospital. When Neil shows up, Devon’s (Bryton James) distraught in the hall. Neil comforts Devon before they end up back at the penthouse.

Nate’s (Brooks Darnell) sorry that he couldn’t do more for Hilary. He expresses his sympathy to Devon before Shauna (Camryn Hamm) walks in. Devon admits that Hilary passed away and hugs a teary Shauna. He promises the teen that this is still her home.

Devon dashes off to Hamilton-Winters soon after. Meanwhile, Mariah catches up with Neil. They talk about her upcoming GC Buzz tribute as well as Tessa’s abrupt departure. Mariah indicates that Tessa had an opportunity she couldn’t pass up.

Before the show begins, Mariah gives orders to the crew. She’s surprised when Sharon appears nearby. Mariah is confronted about the train ticket, so she quickly explains that she couldn’t abandon her family. After she chose to stay, Tessa left without her. Sharon lets Mariah know that she’s proud and indicates that her daughter should never doubt herself.

Mariah kicks off the tribute, which brings out some strong emotions. She praises Hilary and celebrates her life on the air. Devon catches the end of the episode and gets choked up. Once Mariah does the sendoff, she gets another big surprise. This time it’s Tessa standing by The Dive Bar.

Tessa reveals that she changed to a round-trip ticket and will eventually return. She doesn’t think she has to choose between Crystal (Morgan Obenreder) and Mariah anymore. Tessa warns that she may not be able to get in touch for a while. She wants everyone to stay safe, but she’s definitely coming back.

At the coffeehouse, Billy (Jason Thompson) spots Phyllis and realizes she’s been crying over Hilary. He consoles her before Nick (Joshua Morrow) walks in. Billy bickers with Nick briefly as Jack (Peter Bergman) appears. He jokes about this meeting of Phyllis’ exes, but Billy just bolts.

Nick expresses sympathy to Phyllis and Jack does the same. Afterward, Nick talks to his work ally about Dark Horse. He wants to move away from all the vendettas and take the company in a positive direction. Jack assures Nick that he’s all in. He’s willing to help Nick achieve success in any way he can.

Jack meets back up with Phyllis later for a drink. She promotes him to best friend status now that Hilary’s gone. At Jabot, Summer (Hunter King) tries to tempt Billy. She thinks he should get over Phyllis and implies that she can make it happen. Summer goes in for a lip lock, but Billy blocks it. He’s not interested in doing this with Phyllis’ daughter.

Summer suggests things would be different if that weren’t the case. Billy remains adamant that sex is off the table, but something tells us Summer won’t give up! “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say some hot drama’s ahead, so we’ll keep you posted as other Y&R details and rumors emerge.
