The Young and the Restless Spoilers Monday, January 29: Nick Shows Chelsea His Stunning Discovery – Lily Deceives Cane – Ashley Makes Her Demands

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Monday, January 29, tease that Noah (Robert Adamson) will cause quite a scene. At Hamilton-Winters, Noah’s still fuming as he brings in a box of Tessa’s (Cait Fairbanks) stuff. Devon objects, but Noah explains that Tessa and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) were kissing behind their backs in San Francisco.

Tessa tries to do damage control with Devon. He eventually finds Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and fills her in on what he’s iearned. Mariah’s sorry if Devon’s feeling hurt. She reflects on the tricky situation and Devon understands. They embrace as they talk about keeping their friendship intact.

Elsewhere, Hilary (Mishael Morgan) gets some great test results. She’s got a good chance of conceiving if she finds a sperm donor soon. Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Billy (Jason Thompson) receive updates. They question Hilary’s rush and eventually ask each other about their own future kid plans.

Both Billy and Phyllis contend that they don’t have babies on the brain. However, the conversation leaves them a bit rattled. Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) gives Sharon (Sharon Case) a cookbook as a present and snaps at Hilary. When she makes her way back home, Nick (Joshua Morrow) drops a bomb. He shows Chelsea some cash stacks that he discovered during renovations. They were in the vents.

It looks like Adam (Justin Hartley) was behind this emergency money. Chelsea will have to explain later this week. In the meantime, Billy is wary of Ashley’s (Eileen Davidson) Newman plans. She suggests that her view of Victor (Eric Braeden) doesn’t line up with Billy’s. Plus, Ashley feels like she can take care of herself.

Victor and Ashley discuss their deal later. She wants a seat on the board in addition to her new title. Ashley also needs development funding and asks to be over multiple divisions at the company. She’s got her eye on Brash and Sassy, which will surely infuriate Victoria (Amelia Heinle). Victor promises he can deal with it and urges Ash to officially join Newman.

Back at Hamilton-Winters, Tessa secretly gets ready to crash on the couch. Meanwhile, Lily (Christel Khalil) deceives Cane (Daniel Goddard) about working with Victoria. Cane decides to make plans with Lily later, so he contacts Victor. He’s taken aback when Victor reveals that Victoria’s out of town.

Cane calls Lily, who fibs once again. She claims Victoria has slammed her with more than she can handle. Lily’s excuses continue at home. She claims she’s tuckered out from a hard day’s work, but Cane knows that’s not true. He chooses to stay silent, but he’s quite distressed. It’s obvious that Lily’s avoiding Sam.

Nevertheless, Lily and Cane will try to bond as a family in the weeks ahead. Communication will be key for this reunited Y&R couple. We’ll keep you posted as other “Young and the Restless” news and rumors emerge. Stay tuned to see what’s next in Genoa City.
