The Young and the Restless Spoilers Monday, January 22: J.T. Shocking Secret – Dina Leaves for Paris – Tessa Lies, Mariah Furious

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Monday, January 22, tease that Billy (Jason Thompson) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) will take advantage of Jack’s (Peter Bergman) absence. At Jabot, Phyllis and Billy note that Jack’s busy with family matters. They get romantic and enjoy some snacks with their Champagne.

Later, Billy and Phyllis take the kids over to Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) place. When Billy spots J.T.’s (Thad Luckinbell) luggage, he realizes Victoria asked him to move in. Billy makes a scene, but Victoria insists she’s sure about this. Afterward, Billy tells Phyllis that this is a big mistake. He fears Victoria and J.T.’s reunion will end in disaster.

Meanwhile, Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) lies to Devon (Bryton James) and Noah (Robert Adamson). She suggests that the lyrics she wrote are her own words. Noah promises that he believes Tessa’s side of the story. Devon decides to talk to Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and get to the bottom of this.

At the TV studio, Hilary (Mishael Morgan) is ecstatic over the ratings Mariah’s outburst pulled in. However, she wonders who the journal entries are about. Mariah points out that there’s no guy and tries to get Hilary to drop it. When Devon arrives, he hints that perhaps Mariah overreacted. Devon thinks maybe the lyrics weren’t exactly like what Mariah wrote. He needs to see her journal to confirm.

Mariah gets upset over Devon’s doubts and states that these entries are private. She just wants Devon to get rid of the recording and scrap the song release. Back at Victoria’s house, J.T.’s alone when he grabs his pill bottle and takes a dose of wine. He has a secret prescription for something, so that can’t be good news.

Elsewhere, Dina (Marla Adams) remains quite confused. She can’t remember anything that happened with Graham (Max Shippee). Traci (Beth Maitland) tells Jack and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) that they shouldn’t bother explaining. It would only add to Dina’s confusion and she’d just forget what she was told.

When Abby (Melissa Ordway) calls, Dina gets excited over Paris. Abby pushes the rest of the Abbott clan to let Dina join her. Traci agrees to fly over there with Dina, so Ashley and Jack determine that it’s settled. They just hope that Dina will recall her family when they eventually meet back up.

Jack and Ash share some emotional moments with Dina before she leaves with Traci. Next, it’s back to business. Ashley and Jack concentrate on the arbitration. It’s time to figure out what Jabot’s future will look like.
