The Young and the Restless Spoilers Monday, February 19: Sharon Hears Paternity Bombshell, Joins Forces with Phyllis – Hilary Faces Major Backlash

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Monday, February 19, tease that Nick (Joshua Morrow) will find Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) sparring. By the elevator, Nick pushes Phyllis to stop digging. Later, Nick and Sharon (Sharon Case) meet up for a chat. She’s worried about Nick rushing into this marriage.

Nick teases Sharon about being jealous, but she’s genuinely concerned. Sharon gets Nick to admit that the timing of Chelsea’s proposal is unusual. Afterward, Nick rains on Chelsea’s parade. She’s all excited about eloping, but he wants to wait until summertime.

Chelsea and Nick get into an argument but eventually settle on the plan. They’ll wait on their nuptials, but they can go ahead and adopt each other’s boys. Across town, Devon gives Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Lily (Christel Khalil) some huge news. They’re appalled by Juliet’s (Laur Allen) recorded confession and Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) involvement.

At Jabot, Hilary (Mishael Morgan) stops by to see Jack. She gets upset over the clinic results, which said she wasn’t pregnant. Hilary wonders if maybe it was for the best. She’s losing faith in her whole donor strategy. Jack convinces Hilary to name what her ideal candidate would look like. He realizes she’s basically describing Devon.

Hilary feels like that opportunity has passed her by, but Jack disagrees. He pushes Hilary to go after what she wants – whether it be Devon’s sperm or a reunion. Hilary mulls it over and determines that she sees a future with Devon. She makes her move at Hamilton-Winters later.

Hilary confesses that she’s not over Devon, but he remains aloof. When Lily and Cane show up, major drama goes down! Hilary gets slammed over the recording, but she apologizes and points out that it’s all in the past. Cane and Lily got back together, so Hilary thinks she should get a pass for her actions.

Hilary’s stunned when Lily and Cane announce that she can no longer see Sam. They really let her have it and leave in a huff. Once Hilary’s alone with Devon, she tries to make him understand that she’s made changes in her life. Devon doesn’t seem convinced that they’re authentic or will stick.

Phyllis catches up with Sharon at Crimson Lights and makes her pitch. She wants to team up on a project. Phyllis explains what happened with Chelsea earlier. She notes that Chelsea claims Nick isn’t Christian’s (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) father. A shocked Sharon wonders if Chelsea’s telling the truth.

Phyllis hopes Sharon can help her find out. She indicates that they need to obtain Christian’s medical records. Sharon thinks another DNA test is necessary and agrees to assist Phyllis with her plan. This alliance is sure to bring some interesting moments!
