The Young and the Restless Spoilers Monday, August 6: Mariah’s Scary Call – Kyle Caught Snooping – Devon Throws Cane Out

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Monday, August 6, tease that Sharon (Sharon Case) will have Nick (Joshua Morrow) on her mind. At home, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) can tell her mom’s upset. Sharon confesses that she’s overwhelmed by Nick’s plans for the future. She misses the old version of him a little. Mariah reassures Sharon and later, promises to pitch in with the wedding.

Afterward, Mariah runs into an inquisitive Kyle. She offers a vague explanation about Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) and heads on her way. At the athletic club, Mariah’s relieved to hear from Tessa. She learns Tessa just needs a few days to get things squared away for Crystal (Morgan Obenreder).

Unfortunately, a startling threat emerges. Mariah’s alarmed when she hears Tessa tell someone to leave her alone. The call suddenly cuts off, so Mariah’s left to wonder and worry. Over with Summer (Hunter King), she wears only a towel as she flirts with Billy (Jason Thompson). Once Phyllis comes back to the apartment, she wants details on Billy’s top-secret project. He vows to reveal more soon.

Summer continues to bug Billy at Jabot and Kyle takes notice. He doesn’t think Summer has a real shot with Phyllis’ beau. Kyle contends that even if Summer succeeds, it’d never be more than a hookup. Meanwhile, Cane (Daniel Goddard) encourages Lily (Christel Khalil) to stay quiet. He doesn’t want her turning herself in without a thorough discussion.

Cane tries to make Devon (Bryton James) stand down later, but he doesn’t have any luck. Devon wants Lily to pay for what she did to Hilary (Mishael Morgan) and the baby. Nate (Brooks Darnell) gets involved and pushes Devon to really think about this. Since Cane’s so determined to save Lily, Devon could be starting a real war. Nate doesn’t believe that’s what Devon wants deep down.

Cane tracks down Shauna (Camryn Hamm) and reminds her of what’s at stake. If she won’t keep her mouth shut for Lily’s sake, Cane wants Shauna to do it for her own. He indicates that Shauna could do down for obstructing justice. Devon arrives in time to see the conflict. He gets updates from Shauna and tosses Cane out of the penthouse.

Later, Cane reconvenes with Lily and finds out she’s made a decision. Lily believes she has to come clean to the cops, so Cane pulls her close. At Newman, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) spars with Phyllis and eventually meets Nate (Brooks Darnell). Victor (Eric Braeden) explains that Nate will take care of any health issues that come up. He also assures Nikki that his battle with Nick isn’t a big deal.

Back with Kyle, he digs around in Billy’s office. When Billy walks in, he realizes Kyle’s been looking through his files. Kyle brushes off his snooping as way to satisfy his curiosity. Once he’s alone, Kyle pulls out his phone and texts Ashley (Eileen Davidson) to return home. It looks like they need to stop Billy from heading down a risky path.
