The Young and The Restless Spoilers Monday, August 27: Rey’s Past Revealed – Billy and Phyllis’ Reunion – Lily Worries

The Young and the Restless (YR) spoilers for Monday, August 27, 2018 reveals, Sharon (Sharon Case) welcomes Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) when he enters Crimson Lights, the two engage in small talk before Abby (Melissa Ordway) enters.

Bits of Rey’s past is revealed

Rey speaks to Abby about wanting to reconnect with Arturo (Jason Canela) and asks if she can help, but she refuses. Rey then asks about his sister, but Abby refuses to give him any more information. She then questions Rey about his life, he says that he works in the finance industry and growing up he became the man of the house.

When Rey asks Abby why she’s with Arturo, she says that she loves him and tells Rey to watch his step. Talk then turns to Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nick (Josh Morrow), and Rey wants to know about their connection to JT (Thad Luckinbill). Abby says she’s not concerned about JT and mentions she wasn’t the one who broke into the Newman server. Later Rey writes that tidbit of information in his notepad.

Mariah Worried About Tessa

Mariah (Camryn Grimes) stops by the coffee house to talk with Sharon. She says she’s worried because Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) isn’t responding to her messages. Mariah reveals the reason Tessa left town was to help Crystal (Morgan Obenreder) and says during their last conversation the phone was cut off.

Sharon tells Mariah that Tessa may not be coming back to Genoa City ever again either to protecting her loved ones or she’s taking the easy way out. Mariah says if Tessa breaks her heart, she’ll give up on love. Later Mariah leaves another voicemail for Tessa asking her to call back.

Sharon returns inside the coffee house to discover a leak and Rey offers his assistance in fixing it. As he’s working, he takes off his wet shirt and Sharon can’t resist taking a peek at his body. Conversation turns to Sharon’s wedding, then she asks Rey if he’s married and replies that he and his wife are separated.

Billy and Phyllis’ reunion

Billy (Jason Thompson) returns home from Philadelphia. He suggests to Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) that they take Jaboat out for a spin, but she shoots down the idea. Phyllis then begins to question Billy about his relationship with Summer (Hunter King). Billy tries to call Summer, but Phyllis reveals that she sent Summer on a trip on Jaboat and she’ll return when Phyllis feels the time is right.

Billy is stunned to learn about Summer’s plan to come to Philadelphia to seduce him and asks Phyllis how she could think she’d cheat on him. He then comforts Phyllis as she breaks down over the way Summer turned out. When she tries to call Summer, Billy tells her to ignore it and let Summer be by herself for a while.

Billy says that if Summer had come to Philadelphia he would’ve slammed the door in her face. Phyllis then explains to Billy how she lured Summer onto Jaboat and sent her sailing. Billy confesses there were times Summer behaved inappropriately with him and he told Summer there’d never be anything between them. Phyllis wonders if that would be true if she wasn’t in the picture.

Billy admits he doesn’t have the best track record, then packs his bags ready to leave if Phyllis wants him to. Phyllis apologizes for accusing him of having an affair and the two make up. The couple then make plans to move out tomorrow, talk once again turns to Summer and Phyllis remarks that if ever did anything with Summer, she’d kill him.

Lily worries about prison

Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) and Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) are at the athletic club doing research on women’s prisons when Lily (Christel Khalil) arrives. They explain to their mother they want to be prepared in case Lily is sent to prison. The twins share with Lily the information they learned and say they’re worried about how tough it’ll be for her in prison.

Mattie says that if Devon (Bryton James) speaks on Lily’s behalf, the judge will listen. Lily tells the twins the best thing they can do is remain positive and stay strong. After the twins leave, Abby stops by, and Lily breaks down by telling Abby her fear of not surviving in prison.
