The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Mal Young Reveals The Truth About Cait Fairbanks’ Rumored Exit on YR

“The Young and the Restless” executive producer Mal Young has responded to the rumors about the supposed exit plans of Cait Fairbanks. The speculations have been flying around, but some fans are hoping it is not true. Well, they got the answer straight from Young.

On Twitter, one fan sent a tweet to Mal Young, saying that they are worried about the rumors going around about Fairbanks, who plays Tessa, leaving the soap. Young responded “not true,” putting the issue to rest.

Fortunately for the star’s fans, Fairbanks is not going anywhere. In fact, Tessa and Mariah’s (Camryn Grimes) storyline is set to be on the spotlight in the coming weeks. Grimes, who recently won a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series, teased about the reunion of the LGBT couple on the hit CBS soap.

In an interview with the Digital Journal, Grimes said that Tessa and Mariah were both caught off guard by their love for each other, as it was so “spontaneous and intense and so strong.” She explained that both characters have something to deal with themselves first before they can come back to their relationship in a natural way.

“Now, they have settled into their respective lives and their respective truths. They are in a place, where they can come at it from a different perspective,” she added.

Tessa and Mariah recently shared a kiss and went into a movie date. However, “The Young and the Restless” spoilers tease that Tessa is still unsure about where she stands with Mariah, and she will be in need of an advice regarding this. So while they are drawing closer again to each other, it seems that they still have some obstacles to conquer.

“The Young and the Restless” airs Mondays to Fridays at 12:30 p.m. on the CBS network.
