The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Mal Young Leaks 45th Anniversary Shocker – Lives Changed Forever

The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that there is a going to be a major shakedown for some of our favorite characters in Genoa City in the coming weeks. As a matter of fact, executive producer and head writer Mal Young promises some big drama as lives are about to be changed forever during the upcoming 45th-anniversary episode.

In a new interview, Mal promises some major surprises and quite a few familiar faces on the set again. Some of them include Laura Woodland, Jamie Lyn Bauer, and Meg Bennett just to name a few. There have also been a few reports indicating that Kristoff St. John might be returning, too.

Mal said, “This is a huge honor and moment for me, personally. To have the responsibility of overseeing the celebrations for the 4th anniversary of The Young and the Restless. The anniversary is on a Monday, but actually, it’s all about these five episodes and events that are going to unfold across the five episodes that are going to change lives forever.”

He added, “We’ve got major storylines happening and major peaks of what we’ve been building up for months. So it was important also that some of these people came from the past, like Mac who would actually play in the current storylines. It’s been a real reunion this week, while we’ve been filming everything. It’s been a joy for everyone simply meeting each other after not seeing each other for years. The atmosphere has been exciting and emotional and I think we’ve got something that’s truly exciting and special for the fans.”

As far as what kind of excitement he has in store, Mal didn’t share any details. Of course, fans will just have to tune in to find out what will happen next!
