“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Monday, April 16, tease that the girls’ night guests will be in shock. At Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) place, the ladies plan to tie J.T. (Thad Luckinbell) up when he awakens. Unfortunately, there’s no need. Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) soon realizes J.T. no longer has a pulse. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) killed him!
Sharon Talks to Mariah
Before the women can figure out their next move, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) knocks on the door. Sharon (Sharon Case) decides to take her downstairs and fish for info. She determines that Mariah was too out of it to discover anything. After Mariah goes home, Sharon heads back up to the others. Phyllis argues that they can’t call the cops. She feels like they’d never buy their story.
Victor Tries to Expose J.T.
At the hospital, Nick (Joshua Morrow) gets the wrong idea when Victor (Eric Braeden) spells J.T.’s name on the phone. He assumes J.T. might be in the loop on Victor’s attempted murderer. Nick calls J.T.’s cell, so Nikki looks at it and ponders her son’s reasons.
Paul Discovers J.T.’s Blood
At the police station, Paul (Doug Davidson) and Christine (Laralee Bell) get a match on the blood found at the ranch. They find out that it belongs to J.T. Paul realizes J.T. has seemed on edge lately and worries that they set this in motion. He takes off to see if their top suspect is at Victoria’s place.

Phyllis Wants to Ditch Body
Later, Paul learns Victoria split from J.T. after his undercover mission was exposed. He hints that it was probably a good thing. The ladies try to stay calm as they explain their party to cheer Victoria up. Once they’re alone again, Phyllis wants to get the cover-up started. She proposes ditching the body right away.
Nick Finds Out Victor’s Murderer
Back at the hospital, Nick gets ready to exit. He realizes Victor’s still trying to convey something, so he stops to listen. Victor struggles to get the words out, but he eventually states that J.T. did this. Nick finally understands what Victor’s been getting at, so he dials Paul’s number. He reveals that Victor confirmed J.T. as the attacker. Paul lets Nick know that he’s got enough evidence to make an arrest.
J.T. Is Dead
Of course, arresting J.T. is no longer a possibility since he’s dead! Thanks to a news report, Mariah learns J.T.’s suspected of an attempted murderer. She finds out about the arrest warrant and it won’t be long until everyone else in Genoa City hears as well.
