The Young and the Restless Spoilers Friday, November 2: JT’s Missing Corpse Causes Chaos – Phyllis Makes Lauren COO – Abby Advises Nick

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday, November 2, tease that the cover-up crew will face a bombshell. At Chancellor Park, Sharon (Sharon Case) arrives and stuns the rest of the gang with her mask. She’s just trying to blend in on this creepy Halloween evening. Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) quickly get back to the task at hand.

Once they’re done digging, a startling discovery is made. The girls’ night gang is surprised to find nothing at all! The hole’s empty, so they determine that either J.T.’s (Thad Luckinbill) alive or somebody already moved the body. Unfortunately, this shocker means they still have to worry about a threat out there.

Elsewhere, Summer (Hunter King) tries to rain on Kyle’s (Michael Mealor) parade. He brags about spending Halloween with Lola (Sasha Calle), but Summer insists they won’t last. She’s confident Lola will dump Kyle soon enough.

Once a new day begins, Phyllis gets to work at Jabot. As the company’s new CEO, she’s got big plans. For starters, Phyllis offers the COO job to Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman). She also keeps Kyle in his current gig and sends Billy (Jason Thompson) back to the marketing department.

Billy and Kyle meet privately to discuss what’s next. They intend to stand against Phyllis together, but Billy doesn’t want to play dirty. Kyle thinks they can simply outwit Phyllis to get what they want. Meanwhile, Kerry (Alice Hunter) talks about new ideas with Phyllis and Lauren. They establish a game plan to formulate new products and fill the void Ashley (Eileen Davidson) left.

Phyllis is also going for a Jaboutique expansion, so she’s clearly got a grip on her vision. Over with the other cover-up crew members, they discuss J.T.’s missing body. Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) waltzes over to grill Sharon, Victoria and Nikki about their charity project. He’s curious about what it is they’re actually doing. The women do a poor job of explaining, but at least they come up with something.

Afterward, Sharon updates Rey on her latest confrontation with Nick (Joshua Morrow). She notes that she reiterated it was over. Rey feels like Sharon’s taking positive steps to distance herself. He assures Sharon that he’s there if she needs him.

Sharon ultimately feels uncomfortable and reminds Rey she’s not available. He promises he was offering support as a pal. When asked about his problematic marriage, Rey hints at making progress over the phone. Back at the park, Victoria’s still on edge. She leans on Nikki as they worry about the storm that’s brewing. Victoria just isn’t sure of anything at this point.

Over with Nick, he refuses to give up on his reunion goal. Abby (Melissa Ordway) listens to his grand gesture plans, but advises him to give it a rest. Sharon obviously wants space, so Abby suggests Nick should respect that. He’s still irritated since Sharon can’t seem to get past this one blunder. To be fair, it was a biggie!

Next week, “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say Nick will finally start to let go. It won’t happen overnight, but Nick will have to move forward eventually. We’ll keep you posted as other Y&R news and rumors emerge. Stay tuned to see what’s next in Genoa City.
