The Young and the Restless Spoilers Friday, May 25: Jack’s Resigns, Stuns Billy – Abby & Arturo’s Plan a Trip – Hilary Impresses Devon

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday, May 25, tease that Billy (Jason Thompson) will face Jack’s (Peter Bergman) wrath again. At Jabot, Jack’s upset about Billy abandoning a classic scent John (Jerry Douglas) developed. Billy points out that Jack had the same idea a year ago. They bicker about all the changes until Jack finally leaves.

Over with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), she briefly argues with Kyle (Michael Mealor) before reassuring Billy. Phyllis thinks this new beginning will turn out just fine. She’s hopeful that the Abbott clan will back Billy up once he boosts profits. At Crimson Lights, Jack and Kyle discuss the CEO situation. After Jack suggests they should take their teamwork elsewhere, they head back to Billy’s office.

Jack informs Billy that they’re not on the same page and he can’t get past this. He reveals that he’s resigning and pushes Kyle to quit, too. Unfortunately, Kyle just can’t walk away. He apologizes to Jack, but he has to stick with Jabot. Billy protests as Jack turns his back on them and stomps off.

Elsewhere, Abby (Melissa Ordway) faces a bit of a predicament. She’s all set for a Miami getaway, but she doesn’t have a travel buddy. Abby isn’t thrilled about going alone, but she struggles to find anyone to tag along. Lily (Christel Khalil) suggests Arturo (Jason Canela) as a possibility, so Abby decides to go for it. She invites Arturo and ultimately convinces him to make plans for this adventure.

At the TV studio, Shauna (Camryn Hamm) needs some assistance as she prepares for the prom. Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) happy to pitch in. Devon (Bryton James) notices how sweet and supportive Hilary is. He states that she’s already acting like a mom. Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) and Shauna eventually meet up to get this party started.

Later, Devon spots Hilary trying on a prom dress and adds a tiara to complete the look. After Hilary mentions a painful part of her own prom night, Devon praises her for how she helped Shauna. They move in close for a special dance. Devon and Hilary gaze into each other’s eyes as they enjoy this magical moment.
