The Young and the Restless Spoilers Friday, March 9: Ashley Fired, Suing Victor – Abby Finds Proof Of Victoria’s Treachery – Hilary’s Disappointing News

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday, March 9, tease that Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Lily (Christel Khalil) will discuss work drama. At Crimson Lights, Abby suggests that Lily had every right to walk away from Newman. The tension is brutal there right now. Abby indicates that Victoria (Amelia Heinle) is pretty much insufferable, but she vows to hang in there. She wants to take charge one day.

Lily Questions Her Choice

Lily wonders if maybe she jumped the gun on accepting that modeling gig. She tracks Devon (Bryton James) down to make a pitch and set up a different path for herself. Devon is on board with helping Lily achieve her latest dream.

Cane Supports Lily

Later, Lily tells Cane (Daniel Goddard) that she won’t be going out of town after all. She explains that she’ll be running her own agency. Cane is proud to support Lily’s fashionable new branch of Hamilton-Winters.

Shauna Impressed

Meanwhile, Hilary (Mishael Morgan) and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) let Shauna (Camryn Hamm) take a look around the TV studio. Shauna’s impressed with Hilary’s lifestyle and suggests her mentor has it all. Hilary softly replies that she doesn’t have everything. There’s certainly one thing she’s lacking and that’s Devon (Bryton James)!

Devon Feels Uncomfortable

Speaking of Devon, he shows up and offers to let Shauna see Hamilton-Winters. They give the teen a tour together and she notices the flying sparks. Shauna hints that they should be a couple, which leaves Devon feeling uncomfortable. Once Shauna’s gone, he pushes Hilary to clear things up for her.

Hilary’s Disappointing News

Later, Hilary calls Shauna’s school and gets disappointing news. Shauna has been skipping all her classes for days. She decided to bail on the SAT, too. Devon grumbles, which irritates Hilary. She feels like Devon always wants to throw in the towel after one mistake. Hilary insists she won’t give up on helping Shauna.

Ashley Fired

At Newman Enterprises, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) learns she’s being fired. She launches a tirade and vows to sue Victor (Eric Braeden) for this. Victor claims he can’t ignore the evidence, but Abby decides to provide some real proof later. She gets updates from Ashley and immediately starts snooping.

Billy Considers Getting Dirty

Billy (Jason Thompson) hears what happened and considers playing dirty to help. He backs out of the idea and tells Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) about the close call. They admit their rebellious tendencies, but Billy insists they can control them.

Abby Clears Ashley’s Name

Back with Abby, she locates Jack’s (Peter Bergman) cell phone records and notices that Victoria (Amelia Heinle) called many times. Plus, the Jabot security log shows Jack intentionally left his office open for J.T. (Thad Luckinbell). Abby takes some pics to prove it and rushes over to see Victor. She points out how easy it was to clear Ashley. Abby yells that Victor just fired the wrong person.
