The Young and the Restless Spoilers Friday, June 8: Sharon’s Blackmail Stuns Nikki – Summer’s Sneaky Strategy – Devon Gets a Shock

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday, June 8, tease that Arturo (Jason Canela) will lash out at Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). At the athletic club, Arturo has a big problem with the way Nikki blabbed to Abby (Melissa Ordway). However, Nikki contends that Abby deserved honesty from the get-go.

Arturo eventually finds Abby and makes a pitch for another chance. Abby rejects Arturo, but insists she wants to part ways amicably. Arturo accepts that and suggests they had a good thing going for a while. When Victor learns they’re splitting, he’s happy to hear that Arturo will no longer be an issue.

Meanwhile, Summer (Hunter King) listens in on Phyllis’ (Gina Tognoni) conversation with Billy (Jason Thompson). It’s perfectly clear that Phyllis isn’t pleased about her return. Once Phyllis exits, Summer walks over to Billy with very little clothing on. Billy doesn’t think Phyllis would like that, but Summer hints that she can do what she wants in her own home. It’s her place and her pajamas!

Talk turns to promoting peace between Phyllis and Summer. Billy urges Summer to try, so she says she’ll do it for him. Later, Summer faces Kyle’s insults at Jabot. Billy comes to Summer’s rescue and after she leaves, pushes Kyle to get back together with her. Kyle isn’t keen on the idea.

After Summer asks Phyllis for another sports car, she fumes at her mother’s refusal. Of course, Summer’s not the kind of gal who gives up. She knows how to play the game, so she manages to get a new car from Victor. Phyllis is irked when she finds out, but Billy brushes it off. He notes that at least Summer won’t nag them about borrowing one.

At the penthouse, Devon (Bryton James) gets the scoop on Shauna (Camryn Hamm). Hilary (Mishael Morgan) thinks Shauna needs her right now and hopes Devon will approve. He doesn’t like this arrangement much, but ultimately senses that Hilary really wants to help. Devon calls for some new beds to be delivered. They’ll need a couple small ones for the guest room now that Shauna’s around.

At Newman Enterprises, Sharon (Sharon Case) confronts Victor about the custody battle. She wants Victor to back out of it, but he refuses to change his mind. Nikki faces an angry Sharon next. She learns she’ll have to persuade Victor or risk going to prison. Sharon plans to tell the cops what happened to J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) if Nikki doesn’t cooperate. She won’t want Nikki to test her on this.

Sharon’s working hard to keep Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Christian (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) together. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say even more surprises are in store. We’ll give you updates as other Y&R news and rumors emerge. Stay tuned to see what’s next in Genoa City.
