The Young and the Restless Spoilers Friday, June 1: Kyle’s Naked Disaster – Sharon Drops Bomb on Mariah – Nikki’s Stuns Abby

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday, June 1, tease that Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will get some puzzling updates. At home, Sharon (Sharon Case) reveals that Nick (Joshua Morrow) wants to move to San Diego. She shares his plan to run a non-profit organization there but admits this is really about getting from Victor (Eric Braeden).

Mariah’s upset about being apart from Sharon. She feels like she’s being left out of the loop on something and thinks they should resume this conversation later. Mariah has to get to work, so she joins Hilary (Mishael Morgan) for a poolside show at The Dive Bar. Billy’s (Jason Thompson) going to launch a new product on the air.

Models in swimsuits have temporary tattoos across their bodies. They feature company-related hashtags and the promotional campaign quickly goes viral. Once Hilary and Mariah are on the air, they talk about the national launch of “Birthday Suit by Jabot.” After Kyle hops in the pool and shows off the lack of hashtag smudges, everyone sees that his swimming trunks have fallen off.

A technical difficulties screen is displayed until Mariah comes back and closes the show with a birthday suit joke. Hilary rushes over to Billy and scolds him for this disaster. She feels like this is going to cause a world of trouble for the show. At the Abbott mansion, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Jack (Peter Bergman) watch the horror unfold. They note that profits could take a hit.

Jack shifts gears and asks Ashley to start a new company with him. Unfortunately, she doesn’t feel Jack’s trustworthy. At the athletic club, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) explains her history with Arturo (Jason Canela). She tells Abby (Melissa Ordway) about her open marriage, which is now closed. Nikki admits she was sleeping with Arturo for a while, so Abby has a tough time taking it all in.

Abby gets a warning as well. Nikki points out that the Newman women have plenty of money in the bank. She implies that Arturo could be after it and pushes Abby to watch out for herself. Later, Abby doesn’t pick up when Arturo calls. After Mariah tips Nikki off to Sharon and Nick’s moving plans, a confrontation erupts at the cottage. Nikki corners Sharon alone and demands answers.

Sharon’s miffed about Nikki pestering her with questions. When Nikki suspects this is about J.T. (Thad Luckinbill), Sharon denies it and notes that Nick came up with the idea on his own. She suggests that Nikki should turn to Victor if she wants to know more.
