The Young and the Restless Spoilers Friday, January 5: Graham Play Dirty, Jack Hits Him – Cane & Lily Kiss – Abby Rejects Scott

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday, January 5, tease that Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Lily (Christel Khalil) will have New Year’s Eve on their minds. They try to write some texts to share their growing feelings, but their efforts fall flat. Love is certainly complicated for these two right now.

Afterward, Billy (Jason Thompson) meets up with Cane and they bicker about his new role at Chancellor. Nevertheless, Cane sucks it up and they leave to attend a meeting. At the athletic club, Lily talks to Devon (Bryton James) about her struggles. It’s hard being in romantic limbo.

She quickly picks up on Cane’s look of longing, so she urges him to pour his heart out. Billy finds Lily at the bar and pushes her to do to same thing. Cane and Lily eventually step away from the crowd. They acknowledge that they’re missing each other and postpone the divorce. Lily starts to exit, but Cane goes in for a steamy lip lock.

In her vehicle, Abby’s (Melissa Ordway) taken aback when someone gets in. She soon realizes it’s Scott (Daniel Hall), who wants to address the situation with Sharon (Sharon Case). Scott mentions his rejected proposal and Abby insists she’s ready to put all this behind her. Later, Abby tells Scott that she managed to delay their new assignment together. She’s heading off on a trip to Paris with Lily.

At the Abbott mansion, Traci’s (Beth Maitland) devastated when Dina (Marla Adams) can’t remember her. Dina acts like Traci’s a stranger, but they share a nice chat anyway. Meanwhile, Jack (Peter Bergman) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) debate how to handle their mother’s care. Ash pushes for an upscale facility, but ultimately concedes that it would be too difficult to leave Dina there.

Back with Traci and Dina, they’re surprised when Graham (Max Shippee) arrives. He asks Traci to join him outside for a private conversation. When she does, Graham locks Traci out and has a flashback about Christian (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen). He helped Dina swipe the kid from the athletic club.

Graham tries to turn Dina against the Abbotts and assures her that she can leave with him. When Jack hears what happened, he’s outraged. Jack catches up with Graham and jabs his knee into his enemy’s groin. Graham’s thrown out of the mansion, but he vows to fight the Abbott clan. He still has medical power-of-attorney in Wisconsin, so he’s ready for a fierce legal battle.
