The Young and the Restless Spoilers Friday, January 26: JT Shocking Heart Problem – Victor Makes Ashley Shocking Offer – Noah Dumps Tessa

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday, January 26, tease that Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) is in for a shock. At the hospital, she spots J.T. (Thad Luckinbell). He avoids Nikki’s questions and provides reassurance about his health. After Nikki tips off Victoria (Amelia Heinle), J.T. comes home and gets grilled. He reveals that his heart problems stem from when he was electrocuted.

J.T. confesses to getting checked out at the hospital and taking prescription pills. Victoria suggests the drugs may be altering J.T.’s mood. He denies it and notes that whenever he’s rude, it’s his own fault. J.T. insists he’s fine and gets playful to lift Victoria’s spirits.

Meanwhile, Devon (Bryton James) tells Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) that her song has been scrapped and she’s off the label. Tessa frantically tries to save her job, but the best Devon can do is offer another one. He lets her stay on at the company, but snaps that this had better be her last mistake.

Across town, Noah (Robert Adamson) blasts Mariah (Camryn Grimes) for kissing Tessa and deceiving him for months. Mariah protests that Tessa chose Noah, but he can’t be calmed. Sharon (Sharon Case) tries to intervene, but she just makes things worse. Noah realizes his mom also knew, so he lashes out at her as well.

Noah fills Nick (Joshua Morrow) in later, but his dad pushes him to hear Tessa out. Instead, Noah does most of the talking. He rips into Tessa for betraying him and talks about their lack of trust. Noah thinks Tessa’s only with him for the Newman money. He dumps Tessa and leaves her distraught.

Over with the Abbotts, Traci (Beth Maitland) comes back with updates on Dina (Marla Adams). She got her mom settled in with Abby (Melissa Ordway) in Paris. Unfortunately, chaos is still happening back home. Traci pushes Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Jack (Peter Bergman) to make peace, but Ash isn’t interested. She notes that she resigned from Jabot and no longer wants anything to do with Jack.

Traci’s angry with Jack for pushing Ashley on the paternity issue. She thinks the blood-relative amendment went too far. Ashley decides she’s going to start her own company, but Victor (Eric Braeden) hears the news and takes action. He wants to make Ashley an offer and bring her on board at Newman.

Nikki gives Victor her blessing, so he makes his pitch. Ashley can serve as the chief innovation officer if she agrees. Victor points out that he’s creating this position just for Ash. She thinks this is just a strategy to make Jack pay. Ashley hesitates to accept, but Victor insists it’s a golden opportunity.
