The Young and the Restless Spoilers Friday, January 19: Mariah Freaks On Air At Tessa – JT Moves In With Vicky – Lily Bonds with Sam

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday, January 19, tease that Hilary (Mishael Morgan) will still have babies on the brain. At the TV studio, Hilary plans to do a story on motherhood. Mariah (Camryn Grimes) talks about how Hilary isn’t the mothering type. Hil notes that her cohost might be projecting a bit and Mariah admits that’s a possibility.

At the music studio, Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) finishes recording her new single. Devon (Bryton James) wants to get the song on their streaming service ASAP. He asks how Tessa came up with the idea for this tune, but her answer is vague.

Later, Lily (Christel Khalil) tells Devon about her reunion with Cane (Daniel Goddard) and her lingering doubts. Devon offers reassurance about Sam and eventually runs into Hilary. Once he reveals Tessa has a new song coming out, Hilary wants to debut it on The Hilary Hour. It takes some convincing, but Devon eventually agrees as long as it’s just a performance. He’s holding off on interviews.

Tessa freaks when she finds out, but Devon forces her into it. She nervously dodges questions about the song when she arrives at the TV studio. Once Tessa goes on the air, she sings about a lie that feels so true. Mariah looks enraged as she rushes over to confront Tessa. She blasts Tessa for stealing her journal and turning her words into song lyrics. The live outburst should make some waves!

Across town, Cane and Lily tell the twins their good news. Charlie’s (Noah Alexander Gerry) ecstatic about the family reunion, but Mattie’s (Lexie Stevenson) a little more cautious. Still, she can accept their choice. Once Cane brings Sam home, Lily takes him in her arms. She looks uneasy at first, but her lips ultimately curl into a smile.

At Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) place, she’s distracted during a video chat with Abby (Melissa Ordway). Victoria pays more attention to J.T.’s (Thad Luckinbell) texts, so Abby gets agitated. She notes that she’s going to find out what Victoria’s secret is.

Once J.T. stops by, Victoria says she’s uncomfortable with all the sneakiness. J.T. suggests sharing their reconnection with everyone, but Victoria’s not ready. She thinks they need to determine what it is they’re doing first. J.T. and Victoria discuss wanting to see where this leads. They’re on the same page about seeking a serious relationship.

J.T. later explains that he needs a new place to live. Cane’s offer may not stand since he’s moving out of the Chancellor mansion. Victoria believes she has the solution. She pulls out a spare key and tells J.T. he can move her with her.
