The Young and the Restless Spoilers Friday, February 16: Chelsea Stuns Phyllis with Paternity Secret – Devon’s Shocking Discovery – Noah’s Big News

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday, February 16, tease that Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) will be on cloud nine over their engagement. At the penthouse, Chelsea holds out her hand so Nick can slide the ring on. They decide they won’t make a fuss about this at the party. Noah’s (Robert Adamson) got news of his own, so they don’t want to be rude.

At Top of the Tower, Victor (Eric Braeden) assures Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) that good things are ahead for Noah. He feels like his grandson’s taking charge and becoming a real Newman. Of course, that’s what Nikki’s afraid of! She expresses her fears and the party soon kicks off.

Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) busy with a business meeting, so she can’t make it. J.T.’s (Thad Luckinbell) watching the kids for her. Mariah’s (Camryn Grimes) still sick, so the guest list ends up being pretty small. Nevertheless, Noah moves forward with his announcement. He declares that he’s accepted a position with Newman’s Mumbai offices.

Sharon (Sharon Case) and Nick voice their complaints, but Noah’s mind is made up. When Chelsea’s engagement ring is spotted, she admits they’re going to tie the knot. Nick explains how it happened and Chelsea reveals that they’re going to adopt each other’s boys after the wedding. They want them to be brothers.

Chelsea faces Sharon’s questions about the development. Sharon mentions Adam (Justin Hartley) and how Chelsea’s been wishing Nick were more like him. She’s confused about this sudden desire to get married, but Chelsea dismisses her doubts.

Chelsea also makes her stance clear to Victor. She lets him know that she won’t be intimidated. Chelsea doesn’t think Victor can sabotage her plans, but Victor suggests that they’ll see about that. It sounds like Chelsea had better be careful!

Elsewhere, Billy (Jason Thompson) tries to settle Phyllis (Gina Togoni) down. She’s still fuming over J.T.’s revelation, which confirmed Chelsea’s guilt. Billy pushes Phyllis to speak with Chelsea before she does anything else. After failing to find Chelsea at the penthouse, Phyllis and Billy become party crashers.

In a moment alone with Chelsea, Phyllis explains the new evidence. She demands that Chelsea end her relationship with Nick or else she’ll spill the beans. Chelsea notes that there’s a far worse secret in play. She insists it would crush Nick to the core. Phyllis is skeptical, so Chelsea eventually blurts out that Christian (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) belongs to Adam (Justin Hartley).

Nick would be devastated if he knew Christian wasn’t his biological son. Chelsea rants that it’ll be Phyllis’ fault if this all explodes. Over at the athletic club, Hilary (Mishael Morgan) gets fed up with a sperm donor. Bryon (Damion Poitier) offends Hilary, so she’s worried about her potential “baby daddy” being a real jerk. Devon (Bryton James) steps up with some comforting words.

Later, Devon stumbles across something that leaves him stunned. It’s the recording Hilary made of Juliet’s (Laur Allen) confession. Devon hears Juliet admitting that Cane (Daniel Goddard) didn’t sexually harass her. He seems appalled that Hilary hid the truth and apparently kept the recording as blackmail ammunition.

Hilary is on a better path now, so will that ultimately make a difference to Devon? “The Young and the Restless” spoilers hint that a “Hevon” reunion is coming sooner or later, so Devon should get past this in time.
