The Young And The Restless Spoilers Friday August 24: Rey’s Brother Revealed – Phyllis Fights Dirty Against Summer

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday August 24 tease another exciting and action-packed episode, fans won’t want to miss a moment of the CBS soap opera.

Nikki seeks help for Victoria

Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) arrives at Neil’s (Kristoff St. John) home to meet with Nate (Brooks Darnell). During their conversation, Nikki reveals that Victoria (Amelia Heinle) was abused by JT (Thad Luckinbill) and worries about the emotional toll it’s taken on her daughter. Nikki asks Nate if he’d help Victoria, but he reminds her that Victoria doesn’t like him, yet she’s adamant that Nate be the one to treat Victoria.

Arturo (Jason Canela) meets Abby (Melissa Ordway) at Crimson Lights, where she gives him a gift for his upcoming trip. As they’re talking, Arturo spots Rey (Jordi Vilasus) coming in, and he quickly exits with Abby. Later Paul (Doug Davidson) arrives and accidentally bumps into Rey. Upon seeing Victoria, Paul makes his way to her table and questions her about JT. She says she wishes she can forget about him and Paul says it would make things easier if JT was caught. Victoria remarks that it’s impossible and realizing that the comment made Paul suspicious, says it’s because the police can’t do their job.

Victoria is working in her office when Nikki and Nate arrive. She’s unhappy to see Nate and when Nikki reveals she told Nate about the JT situation, Victoria goes on a tirade. Nate offers to help Victoria deal with her stress, but she rebuffs his offer. She admonishes Nikki for spilling her personal details, then throws her and Nate out of the office.

Brotherly reunion

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday tease that Abby and Arturo are having dinner at the athletic club and she senses something is bothering him. He shrugs off her concern and tries to focus on their dinner, but Rey comes in and joins them.

Arturo asks Rey to leave, and Abby watches the two men and Rey introduces himself as Arturo’s brother. He then comments about how Arturo is always getting into trouble and Rey is the one who has to clean up his mess. Arturo asks why Rey is here, but he doesn’t give an answer and leaves.

Arturo drops Abby off at the Abbott house, she tries to get him to open up about Rey, but he refuses. They share a kiss before he leaves.

Phyllis and Summer’s heated confrontation

Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) confronts Summer (Hunter King) about her trip to Philadelphia to seduce Billy (Jason Thompson). Summer once again tries to lie by saying it’s for business, but Phyllis isn’t buying it. Summer admits she does want Billy and says that Phyllis’ relationship with him was bound to end and figures he’d sped things up. Phyllis calls her delusional, but Summer says that Billy wants her just as much as she wants him.  Summer says she has no intention of backing off until she has Billy for herself.

Phyllis calls Summer a horrible person and says that she’s hurting everyone around her, Summer then brings up all of Phyllis’ past misdeeds. Summer smirks that being cheated on is what happens to Phyllis and other women when they get old, and Phyllis slaps Summer in retaliation. Upset, Summer grabs her bags and storms out the house, before she leaves she vows Billy will be hers. When Summer leaves, Phyllis calls someone to say that she has an emergency and if they’d help she’ll make it worth their while.

Up at the Dive Bar, Kyle (Michael Mealor) receives news that Billy’s on his way to the airport. He then goes back to Jabot and ransacks Billy’s office looking for files.

Kyle arrives back at the Dive Bar and meets Summer. She explains the argument she had with Phyllis and Kyle implores her to fix her relationship with her mother before it’s too late. He even offers to give her his car if she’ll call off her plan, but she refuses.

The Young and the Restless spoilers go on to say that the two talk about if Billy would cheat on Phyllis, then the conversation turns to Billy’s gambling. Summer reveals that he lost and won Jaboat in a card game. Their conversation is interrupted when Summer receives a text, she says this changes everything and shows Kyle the message from Billy, asking her to come to the yacht.

Back at Jabot, Phyllis is on her laptop and it’s revealed she’s the one who sent the text to Summer.
