The Young and The Restless Spoilers: DOOL Star Jordi Vilasuso Joins Y&R Cast

The Young and the Restless comings and goings indicate that fans will soon be seeing a new face in Genoa City. Jordi Vilasuso has just joined the cast of the hit CBS daytime television series. He will be playing a new character by the name of Rey.

According to previous reports, there was some speculation that Jordi would be making his way to Port Charles to take over the role of Dante Falconeri. Apparently, that was just a rumor. Luckily for soap fans, they will be see Jordi make his debut on The Young and The Restless on August 17th.

It’s without a doubt that his character will soon find himself immersed in all of the drama that is going on in Genoa City right now.And for those who think Jordi Vilasuso looks familiar, that’s because this isn’t his first run on daytime television.

Before joining the cast of The Young and the Restless, he also played Dario Hernandez on Days of Our Lives and Griffin Castillo on All My Children. If that weren’t enough, he also had a part playing Tony Santos on Guiding Light. In other words, Jordi is a soap veteran!

So far The Young and the Restless producers have made no comments about Jordi’s new character or what’s in store for him for that matter. In the meantime, The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on the CBS network. Check your local listings for times.
