The Young and The Restless Spoilers: Daniel Goddard Shares A Special Video Of Christel Khalil

We’ve got further proof that the cast and the crew of The Young and the Restless are just as close as they look, both on and off screen. As a matter of fact, actor Daniel Goddard shared a very sweet clip of him and his co-star Christel Khalil’s last day on the set of the hit daytime television soap. And yes, fans are loving every little second of it!

Daniel, who plays Cane on The Young and the Restless, shared a special video after Christel announced that she would be leaving the soap to pursue other opportunities in the entertainment world. At first, Christel, who played Lily on the show, assumed that they were just making sure their hair and makeup looked good before shooting. Little did she realize that Daniel was actually filming them on his phone!

Daniel wanted to keep the special clip between the two of them but after realizing how much the bittersweet moment meant for them, he decided to share it with his social media followers. The actor captioned his post with, “I filmed this after Christel’s last scene a few months back… when her character Lily was being transferred to a prison 400 miles away. I wasn’t going to post it, but it’s such a fun yet bittersweet video in so many ways, that I now wanted to share… Well, the fun part is that Christel didn’t know I was filming and thought I was just taking a pic. 🙂 but it’s moments like these that make working with people that you love so very special!”
