The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Are Tessa And Mariah Back On?

The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that there’s a possibility Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) might get back together again after all. In fact, Tessa is trying to prove her point that she didn’t steal Mariah’s journal out of spite or revenge. Instead, there’s another reason why Tessa used Mariah’s most intimate thoughts and feelings for inspiration for her song lyrics.

Tessa insists that she didn’t want to do any harm to Mariah. What’s more, she didn’t mean to humiliate her, either. In fact, Cait Fairbanks, who plays Tessa on the small screen, told CBS Soaps In Depth, “Tessa didn’t steal the journal to be vindictive. She was desperate! She needed to write a song, but she had writer’s block. When she read Mariah’s journal, she was so inspired by what she said, she got caught up in it. It snowballed from there.”
Of course, time will only tell if Tessa and Mariah will be able to make it passed this. For Mariah, she’s having a hard time looking Tessa in the eyes, let alone forgive her. Tessa should have known better than to even look at her journal in the first place.

And while she is also slowly trying to redeem herself in Devon’s eyes, Tessa knows that she’ll have to acknowledge her repressed feelings for Mariah, too. Cait added, “I think if they have a chance at anything, it will have to start from zero and work its way back again because the trust is gone.”
