In fact, actress Melissa Ordway, who plays Abby on the hit CBS show, recently told Soaps in Depth, “Abby’s mind is completely blown about Arturo and Nikki. She never expected anything like this. It’s been difficult for Abby to trust men after the disaster with Zack. She was beginning to let her guard down with Arturo but she feels hurt and betrayed that he never told her about this trust.”
Apparently, Abby thought that she was safe in her relationship with Arturo, but that wasn’t the case at all. With everything that she’s had to deal with in the past, it’s this betrayal that hurts her the most. She’s not interested in hearing any of his excuses, as she’s now trying to figure out what steps she needs to take next.
Melissa adds, “She’s really angry that Arturo is minimizing his affair with Nikki. He’s one of the only people she’s not related to in Genoa City, so she thought he was safe.”
And while Arturo is doing everything in his power to work his way back into Abby’s heart, The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that it won’t be easy. He’s now got his work cut out for him. Of course, fans will just have to tune in to find out what will happen next!
