The Young And The Restless Spoiler: Doug Davidson OUT At Y&R

The Young and the Restless spoilers confirm some shocking casting news today at the CBS soap opera.  Long time soap veteran and fan favorite Doug Davidson took to Twitter and revealed that he has been given the boot, and we will be seeing much less of his character Paul Williams in Genoa City.

A fan tweeted Doug Davidson and asked the Y&R star if it were true that he was fired from the daytime drama.  Doug replied, “That sounds so harsh, but yes.”  Davidson went on to confirm that he had been officially taken off from contract.

It is worth noting that Davidson’s Twitter account has been hacked in the past, however it would be a pretty strange thing to say by a hacker.  So far the soap has not confirmed his status, or whether or not he will have an official exit or just disappear from current storylines slowly but surely.
