The Young and The Restless Rumors: Kyle and Lola Hookup – Summer Goes Ballistic

The Young and the Restless rumors indicate that Kyle (Michael Mealor) will soon have a new love interest and the lucky lady is newcomer Lola (Sasha Calle).

On Friday’s episode, Lola made her debut as the owner of a food truck. Kyle was one of her customers and immediately the two butted heads when Kyle became finicky with his order. Their sparring session showed that the two had chemistry and based on previews for next week, it seems that Kyle and Lola may become a couple.

Since arriving back in Genoa City, Kyle hasn’t had any luck in the love department. It looked like he was going to reunite with his ex-girlfriend Summer (Hunter King), but she was more interested in chasing after his uncle Billy (Jason Thompson). There was also speculation that Kyle and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) could take their friendship to the next level and start a romance. However, it appears that may not be happening.

But now he seems he has his sights set on Genoa City’s newest resident Lola.

As viewers know already, Lola is the younger sister of Arturo (Jason Canela) and Rey (Jordi Vilasuso). There’s some drama going on with the Rosales brothers and Lola is going to be caught in the midst of their feud.

Between her family’s turmoil and running her business, Lola’s going to need some support and Kyle could be the person for her to lean on. Yet, while their romance blossoms, there’s other complications. First, there’s Summer, who appears to have had a change of heart and now wants Kyle back. She’s bound to interfere in their budding relationship and go ballistic. Plus, there’s Lola’s family. How will they react to their sister’s new flame?

Lola’s only been in Genoa City for a short time and things already heating up in the romance department with her being the woman to finally tame Kyle. If written the right way, Kyle and Lola could become Y&R’s new favorite couple.
