The Young And The Restless RUMOR: Will Phyllis Goes Down For J.T’s Murder?

The Young and the Restless rumors indicate that Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) could find herself facing prison time if her cohorts in JT’s murder turn against her.

The JT murder storyline has faced mixed reviews from Y&R fans. The story took a dark turn when JT (Thad Luckinbill) started to abuse Victoria (Amelia Heinle). Things turned even darker when during a girls night, JT snuck into Victoria’s home. Upon seeing JT attacking her daughter, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) accidentally killed him by knocking him over the head with a fire poker.

The women panicked and thought about calling the police, however Phyllis convinced them it would be a bad idea. She then concocted a plan, where they would bury JT’s body in Chancellor Park.

But the women wouldn’t be free just yet. When they learned that there was a possibility JT was still alive, they were concerned he’d reveal their secret and Phyllis was tempted to bail on the rest of the ladies. However, it turned out Nick (Josh Morrow) was the one masquerading as JT and Phyllis had nothing to worry about.

Or did she?

During a recent group meeting, Sharon (Sharon Case) informed Victoria and Nikki that Phyllis was going to proclaim innocence and blame JT’s murder and coverup on them. Upon hearing the news, Nikki and Victoria were furious, and the seeds are slowing being planted for the women to turn on Phyllis.

The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate it’s only a matter of time before the secret about JT’s disappearance is uncovered. With the four women being investigated, they’ll either stick together or turn on each other. Since Phyllis has gotten on Nikki and Victoria’s bad side, its obvious Phyllis is going to take the blame for JT’s murder.

It was Phyllis’ idea to coverup the murder and out of all of the women, she’ll face punishment if she’s charged. Given her past misdeeds and that her nemesis Christine is the prosecutor, it looks like Phyllis could be in big trouble.
