The Young And The Restless RUMOR: Rey’s Secret Partner Revealed?

The Young and the Restless rumors indicate that Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) may not be working alone in his investigation into JT’s (Thad Luckinbill) disappearance.

As Y&R viewers know, Rey is an investigator who is targeting the Newman family in hopes of learning more about JT’s disappearance. Like new characters that appear on soaps, Rey has been a bit mysterious. Fans didn’t know if he was doing the investigation alone or if he was working with someone. Well, in today’s episode, it was revealed that Rey is working with a mystery partner.

After leaving Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) office, Rey called his partner to update them on the progress of the case. This new clue has fans questioning on who Rey could be working with. Well, there are a few possibilities.

The first person is Paul (Doug Davidson), who’s been investigating JT’s disappearance from day one, yet hasn’t been able to get any new information. With the Newmans knowing everyone in Genoa City, there’s no way Paul would send in one of his officers, so he could’ve brought in Rey to help with the case.

The next candidate for Rey’s partner is JT’s ex-wife Mac (Kelly Kruger). She played an important role in JT and Victoria’s recent storyline when she revealed that JT had become abusive to her. When he disappeared, she sought out Victoria for answers, yet didn’t receive any. With her curious to find JT, Mac could’ve hired Rey to track down her ex.

Another candidate is Brittany Hodges (Lauren Woodland). Brittany was a friend of JT and Mac’s, and once he went missing, she too was curious about his whereabouts, yet didn’t receive any answers from Victoria. Brittany and Mac could be working together to find JT and enlisted Rey’s help in breaking down the Newmans for information.

Could one of these three be working with Rey? Or is it possible he has another partner that we haven’t met yet?
