The Young And The Restless RUMOR: Nick Brings Rey’s Ex-wife to Town?

The Young and the Restless rumors indicate that Nick (Joshua Morrow) will resort to tricks in order to keep Sharon (Sharon Case) and Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) apart.

After his affair with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) was exposed, Sharon dumped Nick at the altar. Despite her stance that they were over for good, Nick hasn’t given up on winning her back. He’s even more determined now that Sharon is spending more time with Genoa City’s newest detective Rey Rosales.

Even though Sharon has maintained that she and Rey are just friends, that hasn’t stopped Nick’s jealousy from growing. He’s begun digging around for dirt on Rey, even asking Abby (Melissa Ordway) for clues into Rey and Arturo (Jason Canela) past.

With his newfound powerful attitude, Nick isn’t going to stop until Rey is out of Sharon’s life. Being a Newman, he’ll resort to any tactics in order to get what he wants, even if it means bringing someone from Rey’s past to town.

Rey has talked about the separation from his wife. He never mentioned the reason, but said that they had problems throughout their marriage. With all this discussion about his ex-wife, it means that before too long she’s going to be making an appearance in Genoa City, and Nick’s going to be the one who brings her there.

When Rey’s ex-wife comes to town it’s going to create turmoil. First, there’s Rey who’ll have to deal with his unresolved feelings towards his ex. Plus, this will affect the rest of the Rosales family, since it’s rumored Arturo played a part in the demise of Rey’s marriage. Then there’s also Sharon, who is starting to develop feelings for Rey, even though she’s keeping him in the friend zone.

Will Nick succeed in his plan in reuniting Rey with his ex-wife? Or will Nick’s plan backfire and push Sharon and Rey closer? The battle between the two men is heating up and before long there could be two women caught in the middle of their feud.
