The Young and the Restless RECAP Wednesday, September 26: Nick Prepares To Confess, Billy Causes A Scene

“The Young and the Restless” (YR) recap for Wednesday, September 26, 2018 reveals that over at the penthouse, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) chats with Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) about Shauna Nelson’s (Camryn Hamm) birthday party then asks Neil to dinner. Neil is going to a get together for Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and wants Devon to reconsider going.

Sharon And Nikki Argue

At Sharon McAvoy’s (Sharon Case) place, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) tells Sharon she can not tell Nick Newman the truth and that families would be destroyed. Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) pops back in and let’s them know everyone is waiting.

At the Athletic Club, Nick Newman has a low key little get together. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) promises Nick there will be no strippers unless he wants them. Nick doesn’t. Arturo Rosales (Jason Canela) arrives followed by Neil Winters and Devon Hamilton. Neil gives Nick some cognac as a gift.

Party Is Underway

At the Dive bar, the ladies toast to Sharon McAvoy. Phyllis Summers (Gina Tognoni) comes along and Nikki Newman and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) warn her that Sharon wants to tell the truth. Nikki goes over to Sharon and they bicker a bit. Summer Newman (Hunter King) greets her mom.

Later, Mariah Copeland gives a speech about Nick and Sharon teaching her about the importance of honesty. Back downstairs, Jack makes a speech. Devon tells Nick not to take anything for granted and decides to leave.

Back up at the Dive Bar, Victoria Newman and Summer Newman both let Sharon McAvoy know they are happy for her and Nick Newman since she makes him happy. As Phyllis Summers goes to speak Nick Newman and his crew arrives. Mariah Copeland is upset the party is being crashed and notices Sharon is gone.

Drunk Billy Arrives

Jack Abbott and Neil Abbott discuss Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) intervention. Phyllis Summers joins Jack and Billy Abbott arrives drunk and is still upset over what they pulled. Billy goes on a rant. Meanwhile, Sharon asks Nick to dance.

At the bar, Summer tries to comfort Billy and tells him he has every right to be pissed off. She offers to take him home and he tells her she is pathetic. Phyllis comes up and Billy shrugs her off, knocking her into a waiter. Billy admits that he has been gambling and is in big trouble. Billy leaves. Jack comforts Phyllis before joining Nick and admitting he should not have let Phyllis slip away.

Nick Prepares To Confess

Across the room, Sharon argues with Victoria and Nikki about telling Nick the truth. Close by, Phyllis joins Nick who announces he is going to tell Sharon about their one night together.
