The Young and the Restless RECAP Wednesday, October 3: Billy Proposes, Shick Wedding Goes South

“The Young and the Restless” (YR) recap for Wednesday, October 3, 2018 reveals that over at the Abbott mansion, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) chat about the wedding.

Nick Reassures Phyllis

Phyllis Summers (Gina Tognoni) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) arrive while Nick is in another room. Jack is happy Billy is going to rehab tomorrow. Billy thanks him for the money to pay back Jabot. Nick reappears. Nick assures Phyllis that he will not tell Sharon McAvoy (Sharon Case) about their night together. She reminds him their fates may lay in other’s hands. Nick doesn’t think anyone will tell. Phyllis and Billy leave.

At Sharon McAvoy’s place, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) wonders if she has done the wrong thing by telling Sharon about Phyllis Summers and Nick Newman. Sharon assures her she will not fall apart, but just needs to figure out what comes next. Sharon debates whether to cut ties or accept Nick made a mistake.

Sharon Tells Mariah The Wedding Is Still On

Mariah is shocked when Sharon says the wedding will happen. She tells Mariah to head onto the church and pretend the conversation never happened. The door bell rings and its Summer Newman (played by Bayley Corman). Summer asks if everything is under control. Mariah warns Summer to keep the secret to herself. Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) appears. Sharon sends them on ahead of her.

At the Athletic Club, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and Arturo Rosales (Jason Canela) talk about the wedding. Then talk turns to their relationship.

The Wedding Guests Mingle

At the church, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is surprised to see Billy Abbott arrive with Phyllis Summers and says Abby Newman told her about Jabot. He let’s her know he is off to rehab. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) appears with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).

Faith Newman, Summer Newman, and Mariah Copeland arrive. Summer speaks with Nick to assure him she will not try to stop the wedding. Elsewhere, Billy and Phyllis chat. Summer joins them and Billy apologizes for his recent behavior. Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) arrives.

Mariah worries because Sharon McAvoy is not there yet. Abby Newman and Arturo Rosales enter. Mariah tells Jack Abbott she will run home since Sharon is not responding to her text.

At Sharon McAvoy’s place. Mariah Copeland calls out to her but there is no response.

Billy Proposes To Phyllis

Back at the church, Nick Newman is unsuccessful trying to reach Sharon McAvoy. Phyllis Summers is stunned when Billy Abbott tells her their wedding needs to happen after rehab. Phyllis realizes he is proposing to her. He confirms it.

Mariah Reveals Sharon Is Missing
